Using URL Manager
------------------------------------------------------------

URL Manager allows you to organize and categorize your
internet "universal resource locator" addresses. You can
enter addresses manually, import them from text files,
HTML files, comma-delimited ASCII files, or from the
clipboard, export them to an HTML file, and print lists.

Q. What is planned for future versions?
A. As always, your suggestions are incorporated into
this software. There are firm plans for a
standard help file, and the ability to verify
and possibly view locations with a simple
built-in browser, or by calling your choice
of standalone web browsers, like Netscape, Mosaic,
    or Microsoft Internet Explorer.

Q. I closed the main window. Why doesn't the whole
program close down? How can I get it back without
    exiting and restarting the program?
A. URL Manager uses a standard "Multiple Document
Interface". This means that you can have several
windows open within URL Manager all at the
same time. The main window opens by default when
your start the program, but you can re-open it by
selecting BROWSE then LOCATIONS off of the
main pulldown menu. You can also open several
copies of this window, so that you can simultaneously
look up locations in different orders, or update your
list of categories while browsing locations. The only
limitation is that open windows will not always
automatically refresh when you make changes in other
open windows (for example, if you are manually
adding a location and need a new category, you can add
another one without closing the "add location" window,
and even use that new category, but it will not appear
    in the drop-down for categories).

Q. What is the format of the comma-delimited ASCII file
    used for import?
A. The same as the export file:
    "Category","Location","Description","Site Information",Rating

Q. How do I use the "Add HTML" option to give my exported
    web page a background?
A. There are 5 steps:
    (1) Open the Browse Categories window.
    (2) If the category "_Before All" does not already exist, add it.
If the category "_Before All" does exist, change it.
    (3) Press the "Insert" button inside the HTML box.
    (4) Enter your HTML code, either by hand, or by pasting it from
your favorite HTML editor. An example would be:
        <body background="backgrnd.gif">
        <p><img src="coollogo.gif" align=bottom width=500 height=120></p>
    (5) Press OK, then press Close.

Q. How do I use the "Add HTML" option to give my exported
    web page a different title?
A. There are 6 steps:
    (1) Open the Browse Categories window.
    (2) If the category "_Before All" does not already exist, add it.
If the category "_Before All" does exist, change it.
    (3) Press the "Insert" button inside the HTML box.
    (4) Enter your HTML code, either by hand, or by pasting it from
        your favorite HTML editor.
    (5) Select "Replace Title".
