Welcome, and glad you decide to give SiteAid 2.0 a test drive. The following list covers most of the changes for this new version of SiteAid. Hope you enjoy the changes.

What's new for SiteAid Version 2.0?

-A new "User Defined" toolbar has been added.
-Multiple browser capability.
-Program appearance has been updated and enhanced to help minimize resource usage.
-SiteAid 2.0 is now HTML 4.0 compliant, offering full HTML 4.0 Transitional conformance.
-Colored syntax highlighting has been added, allowing for full customization of not only the editor appearance, but all of the colors for your code and editor background.
-Along with the Colored Syntax, we have added the ability to print these documents out in color as well.
-FTP capability has been added, offering a full service FTP utility within the program.
-Group capability has been added that allows the user to select an entire project at one time. This allows easy access to an entire site's documents, or key documents from a site.
-Offering access to the most popular web-related file extensions, SiteAid allows editing of htm, html, dhtml, shtml, asp, txt and css file formats.
-SiteAid now allows over 100 files opened at any one time (depending on system resource availability).
-A Replace All has been added to the standard Find/Replace function.
-Advanced Find and Replace has been added, allowing the user to replace entries across multiple files. This allows for quick changes to a group of files, across all open files or across selected files. If used on open files, the user has available an undo through each file to cancel the change before it is made permanently!
-The Body Editor functionality has been enhanced to allow the editor to collect information from a current document and fill in all of the entries with existing values. When finished with your changes, it modifies the BODY element, or adds one if necessary.
-A full featured Form Editor has been added to make the life of Web Professionals easier. It includes support for redundant tasks that are encountered in building your professional looking forms.
-An exciting new addition to SiteAid is its feature rich Style Sheet support, boasting an editor that inserts all of the more common style sheet properties, as well as forms for creating classes and IDs and link elements.
-While choosing Fonts for use on your style sheets or FONT elements, we now allow a preview area while selecting your font that gives you a chance to not only see what the font will look like, but also allows you to type in whatever words you wish to preview the font with.
-For those who are only human (just like us), SiteAid now offers a complete Spell Checking utility with custom dictionary capabilities. SiteAid offers the freedom to either spell check a selected area of text, or the whole document.
-Joining our Active File/Identify File information window in the status panel is a line number counter. Those of you who frequently use Validators will appreciate this addition.
-Another functional enhancement is the file control pop-up menu available in the file listing panel, providing not only an open/insert option, but rename and delete as well.
-"Smart List" technology has been added, not only in the Tag Editor, available on the General toolbar, but in the Element/Attribute List available on the top tool bar. This allows the user to select the element they wish to insert, and the attribute list is automatically updated to only the legal HTML 4.0 Transitional attributes.
-In addition to the "Smart List" enhancement mentioned above, full control has been given to the user regarding case control over both the elements themselves, as well associated attributes. Not only does the user have control, but the ability to convert entire documents to your selections. If you like lowercase attributes on your uppercase elements, set it that way and everything will be inserted by the program in that style. Not only does the program allow you to control them, but also allows the user to convert all existing elements/attributes to the selected style.
-The much requested Javascript samples have been included with this release of SiteAid. We have included many of the more commonly seen Javascripts, and some that are not quite so common. SiteAid allows you to tailor the script to your needs, than inserts it into a new document for you to either Paste and Cut from, or build a document using the complete HTML code that was inserted for you. Either way, you'll have a full working version to build from.
-Also, the VERY much requested Special Character support has been added for both our International and English users. Offering a wide range of characters, we have packaged it into an easy to read table format that can be left on-screen for your convenience.
-For the organized webmaster, we have added a function to use a constant "relative" path in our image insertion tool. This allows the user who likes to keep his images in a sub directory, such as "images", the ability to do just that by entering the additional path only once.
-Another new feature added is the ability to have unlimited undo's between saves. After your sure you like what you've got, save your file and the undo's start collecting again!
-Also added was the ability for the user to switch between active documents from the keyboard. By selecting the Shift + F1 or F2, you can advance to the Next or Previous document!
