                              ver 0.01Beta

This isn't a manual, it is a small txt file explaining the program ;)
GigTraf is a traffic reporter for use with the GIGO UUCP gateway package.

It comes in 2 flavours : DOS and OS/2 (16 bit). They are so small that they
are distributed in one file.

The program is invoked from the command prompt by typing GIGTD <filename> or
GIGTO <filename> (for the OS/2 version) and where <filename> is the name
of your GIGO traffic log file. It generates 2 temporary files, and another
file named 'OUT.TXT' which contains the results.

Currently the program is in Beta. It has been written in Borland Pascal, and
the OS/2 version was compiled with Speed Pasca. Note, the OS/2 version has
no screen output! I have not added UseNet newsgroup
support yet, since by feed does not send me news at the moment. As soon as
my feed is back up, I will be putting in newsgroup reporting as well.

Please let me know of any problems you have when using the program. I
have not tested it on ANY system except my own yet....

This program is not Shareware, nor is it freeware. Its somewhere in-between.
If you like the program, you may use it, free of charge. But, since I did
write this, I would not mind a small contribution to help a new programmer
on his way ;)

Known Bugs :
NONE. A problem MAY crop up with HIGH-volume systems, but thats since I used
Integer's for the counting. If you have any problems, let me know. I'll
try my best to fix them...
