	VLAUNCH 2.2a

This is a small utility which views and launches programs. I tried to
keep it as simple, small and fast as possible, because it is written
using Visual Basic 3.0.

You need the following programs to run the program. Copy vlaunch.exe,
vlaunch.hlp, vlaunch.ini to windows directory (or to some other directory
or subdirectory). Copy threed.vbx and vbio.vbx to windows or
windows\system directory. I addition, you need vbrun300.dll to run the
program. Modify vlaunch.ini to suit your own directories and programs.
Vlnch22n.exe is suitable for 640x480 displays, vlaunch.exe for 800x600
displays.

This program has the following specifications:

-views DOS ASCII and UNIX text files. Viewer shows either 180 lines or
maximum 1024 lines or 32700 bytes (it is sometimes slow on this setting
on SX computers, so that default setting is 180 lines).
-copies and appends text from text box to clipboard. Text in text box is
read-only and doesn't change the contents of the file. Prints first page
of clipboard.
-double clicking an item in file list box launches the file if this file
is associated with vlaunch.ini file (copy win.ini list to vlaunch.ini and
edit it to suit your needs).
-clicking right mouse over the file list box opens a form, from which one
can choose a program which needs not to associated with the file list file.
Thus all programs can be launched.
-launch an application by a hotkey (SPACE BAR)
-set your own paths and change directory by double clicking the directory
box.
-print text with Courier 10 font and header (HP Deskjet, Laser printer etc.).
-copies and moves one or more files
-creates and removes directories (use with care -removes hidden and
readonly files, too!).
-shows hidden, readonly and archive files and changes attributes.
-renames files in the same directory.
-shows detailed file contents in a directory
-simple clock
-help
-filters: year and/or month or size (greater than or smaller than), today
and during last days plus selection of those files.

This program is copyrighted but it can freely copied and distributed
(freeware). I take no responsibility if this program corrupts or removes
your files, so use it at your own risk! Vbio.vbx is freeware written by
Arjen Broeze.
