   COMPUTERS WITH WINDOWS 3.1/95/98/ME/ETC:

Put "PROOF.EXE" in the "COMMAND" directory/folder which is located in the
"WINDOWS" (9*/ME/etc.) directory. Assuming you are in the same drive as
"WINDOWS", use the command, "COPY PROOF.EXE \WINDOWS\COMMAND". If your
computer has Windows 3.1 (or just Dos), put "PROOF.EXE" in the "DOS"
directory.

Doing this will allow you to launch Proof anywhere as you do with any Dos
command or utility.

  DOS "PROMPT" (WINDOWS) WARNING:

Do not use Proof to "proof" all the files in the "WINDOWS" directory/folder
due to a couple of files that prevent access while Windows is "running".
Anyway, some files in the "WINDOWS" directory are always changing, so
"proofing" here is not a good idea.

 "TESTA.BIN" and "TESTB.BIN" FILES:

These are the files that caused Proof V1.4 to "fail" (same checksums
reported). However, with Proof V1.5, there is a dramatic difference.

  "CRC" METHOD NOT USED:

Other programs employ a "CRC" method to "authenticate" a file. Proof uses
a unique technique.
