I am new to this list and am very happy to find it. I have been
using Sprint for ages and continue to use it, as it is a great
text editor!

My problem is this: I recently re-installed Windows 98 Second
Edition on my machine and now Sprint does not work. It crashes
with an "invalid opcode" error message, which is trapped by
Windows. I can boot from a DOS diskette and run Sprint just
fine, but I cannot run it under Windows 98. It used to work
before I re-installed the operating system. Can anyone help me
recover my ability to run Sprint under Windows?

PROBLEM: Fatal Exception (6:invalid opcode) at 5356:0000 524D

SOLUTION: Path was too long. I shortened the path to less than
255 chars and now Sprint works. Evidently the re-install of
Windows hosed up my Autoexec.bat file.
