This product must not be used for purposes infringing national or
international copyright laws.

  2. System Requirements
  ----------------------

- IBM PCjr or IBM JX machine.
- Floppy disk drive, or other kind of drive that can be accessed in writing
  from DOS.
- 20 KB of free conventional memory. A basic PCjr or JX1 model with 64 KB of
  RAM should be enough.
- DOS 2.0 to DOS 7.x

  3. Running JRipCart
  -------------------

Copy the program file, JRIPCART.COM, to a medium readable by your IBM PCjr
(generally a double-density 5.25" floppy disk) or IBM JX computer (usually a
single-sided or double-sided double-density 3.5" floppy disk).

After booting DOS on your IBM PCjr or JX computer, and inserting the medium
where the program resides, simply type JRIPCART.

Note: the destination file(s) will be written to the current directory
(generally on the floppy disk from where you have executed JRipCart).

  4. The JRC format
  -----------------

The JRC format specification is presented in the "JRCSPEC.TXT" file. It is
intended for programmers wanting to support this fileformat. Feel free to
contact me if you have questions about the format (see the Contact section
below).

  5. Acknowledgments
  ------------------

Thanks to Mike Brutman for working on supporting the JRC format within his
own PCjr cartridge dumper. Discussions about my format led me to realize that
my program was outdated compared to my fileformat description!

Also, thanks to the OWB (especially Lasse for the Japanese JX part!) and my
wife for supporting me in the creation of this software.
