SmoothTalker Version 2 and 3 Phonetic Codes NOTE: These phonetic codes and imbedded commands have a slightly different syntax than those in Version 4 Smooth Talker as used in the main Speech Thing program. To change pitch: All pitch commands must be included in << >> for English words, << ~ >> for phonetic transcriptions. Range is 0 (low) to 9 (high). In English, only one pitch command may be included in any one set of << >>. To change Speed: Range S0 (slow) to S9 (fast). Same syntax rules as pitch.
