Hi everybody,
I've written three small utilities which are very useful and save you a lot
of time ...

The second one is called STATUS:
I've written this to give me all the information I would like to have
in one go ...
somebody from this board (sorry I forgot your name) had the idea and
so I wrote this.
First download this to your HP than run ASC-> and save it as STATUS.
Press STATUS und you will get something like this:

HP48 DISPLAY Created by sub-program
-----------------------------------------------------------------
HP48sx Status NAME SLine
Date : 2 March 1994 Date
Time : 23.55 Time
Sound : Off Sound
Memory: 59.3Kb (37%) MEMX Memory
Alarm : 15.00 10.12.1994 Alarm
        Change Battery

SOFTKEYS Purpose
------------------------------------------------------------------
LOAD Loads the previously saved flag configuration
SAVE Saves the current flag configuration in FLAGS
BEEP Toggles sound on/off
OWNER Display the owner of the calculator
EXIT Well ... what could THAT mean ???

The program for the softkeys are CHOICE and FLAGS.
To configure it for your HP you have to do the following changes in:

MEMX default: 160 (This is the available memory of your HP in Kb)
NAME default: "HP48sx" (just store your type of HP in it e.g. "HP 48 GX")
in the HOME directory you should create a variable called OWNER.
In it you can save your name, address, phone number, E-Mail address etc.
This variable is also used by CODELOCK (a very useful HP lock utility !!!)

Bye the way: You can use this with the CSTX program, just change the path
             in the STATUS module ...

That's it. I hope you enjoy it and if you have any ideas what could be
worth to change just drop me a line.
Also if you use this utility please send me a message.
These programs are free.

Bye __@
   Olly cc-\\-<,>
       the biker (X)--/-~(X)

PS: I hope there aren't too many mistakes in the description 'cause my
nature language is still German ...
