NDC Instant-Link Ethernet PCI Adapter NDIS Driver for Microsoft Windows 95. ===================================================== INSTALLATION PROCEDURE 1) Insert ND5200 Ethernet PCI Adapter into your system. 2) Turn on your computer and start Windows 95. 3) Windows 95 detects the new hardware and installs the "PCI DEC chip 21040 Based Adapter" driver for it. Let it finish then restart the computer. 4) Now we are about to remove the DEC 21040 Driver and install the ND5200 PCI Ethernet Adapter driver. 5) Remove DEC 21040 Driver. a. click the "Start" button. b. select "Settings" then open "Control Panel" window. c. double-click "System" icon to open "System Properties" window. d. select "Device Manager" tab by single-click it. e. double-click "Network Adapters" and select "DEC 21040 Adapter Based Adapter". f. click "Remove" button. g. click "OK" from "Confirm Device Removal" window. h. click "Close" button to exit "System Properties" window. 6) In the "Control Panel" window, click on the "Network" icon. 7) In the Network Configuration dialog box, choose the "Add.." button. "Select Network Component Type" dialog box appears, and select "Adapter" icon. 8) In the list of Manufacturers, select "Have Disk", and then choose the "OK" button. 9) Insert the ND5200 PCI Ethernet Adapter driver diskette into floppy drive and specify the LAN driver path, and then choose the "OK" button. for example : A:\win95 10) Then, you will see "ND5300 PCI Ethernet Adapter" in the Network Configuration dialog box, select it and then click on the "Properties" button. 11) In this dialog box, select "Resources ",the screen will come up with settings: IRQ and I/O address.
