*********************************************** * CNet ISA-Bus PowerNIC Driver Installation * * > Windows NT 3.1 * *********************************************** The Windows NT 3.1 driver is located in the \WINNT\31 subdirectory of the PowerNIC diskette. 1. Start Windows NT 3.1 and logon as Administrator. From the Control Panel select the "Network" icon. 2. From the Netowrk window, click on the "Add Adapter..." button and then choose " Requires disk from manufacturer". 3. Insert this driver diskette into the appropriate diskette drive. 4. Follow the instructions appearing on the screen and select the appropriate drive name when required to give the location for the driver and the OEMSETUP.INF file. Example: A:\WINNT\31 <--- Directory of CNet 200Eplus Series Ethernet Driver 5. After pressing the "Continue" botton, confirm the driver diskette, key in "0" for the IO Address, and click on the OK button. (The IO Address can also be set to the value specified in the PowerNIC SETUP program.) 6. Now, the driver has been installed. Select the OK button from the Network window. The protocols and driver will bind together. 7. Reboot
