Start WfW311. From the Main Menu double-click on the Network Setup icon. 2. In the Network Setup window double-click on "Drivers". 3.. Under Network Drivers, choose the "Add Adapter..." item. 4. Insert this CN100TX(B) driver diskette into a floppy disk drive (this example uses Drive A:). 5. When the new menu shows up, choose the "Unlisted or Updated Network Adapter" item for the new driver. Then, click the OK button. 6. There is a box to enter the drive and directory. Please key in "A:\WFW311" or "B:\WFW311" plus . The "Unlisted or Updated Network Adapter" will show the names of adapters. Select the "NDIS 2.0.1 Driver" or the "NDIS 3.0 Driver". Then, click the OK button. 7. Users can choose the "Setup..." button to change the SIA mode, slot number, or data rate when choose NDIS 2.0.1 driver and the burst length, bus number, connection type, or pci mechanism when pick NDIS 3.0 driver up. If user choose NDIS 2.0.1 driver, the slot number should be greater than or equal to 16. If users have two 100TX network adapters on board and NDIS 2.0.1 driver has been selected, the slot number of the first adapter should be 16 and the second one is 17. Next, push the set button to save driver configurations. The other option is Data Rate which user could choose the 10 or 100 Mbps for transmission. The connection type of NDIS 3.0 parameter has Auto Sense, 100Mbps, 100Mbps Full_Duplex, 10Mbps, or 10Mbps Full_Duplex selection. 8. Go back to the Network Drivers window and confirm the driver is correctly installed. To close the window, click the OK button. 9. Exit the Network Setup, after making sure the correct driver and protocols have been selected. 10. Next, there are two boxes showing up on screen in order. The WFW311 will automatically modify the CONFIG.SYS, AUTOEXEC.BAT, PROTOCOL.INI, and SYSTEM.INI files 11. Reboot. **NOTE: Before installing NDIS 2.0.1 driver for real mode, please unload the EMM386.EXE in the CONFIG.SYS file. ###
