v1.07.00 - release 12/05/97
- new interface that displays all the contact information to the right of the contact list.
- contact notes are now displayed under the contact list and can be edited from the main screen as well as the edit screen.
- split screen added to 1st Contact can be resized.
- button bars are now fully customizable (small & large buttons) (IExplorer or Windows look), your choice.
- floating toolbars were added for the File Menu, Contacts Menu and Help Menu.
- 1st Contact can now be resized (by dragging) but still maintains a minimum size.
- 1st Contact is web-enabled. Click on a displayed URL and your web-browser is started taking you to the specified URL.
- 1st Contact now includes Q-Notes, the ability to send quick emails from 1st Contact. Emails sent are stored in your default email program.
- Setup Wizard was added on first startup to make it easier for people to setup the modem, country, and network options.
- under Print Options it is now possible to export fields of your choice to an ASCII delimited file, which can be read by most database programs.
- clone feature was added. This allows you to input a company's info once then clone it to edit the contact information.
- full context-sensitive help was added. Just click on the help button and then click on what aspect of 1st Contact you need help with.

- was not formatting the printed reports properly. That has been fixed.

v1.05.00 - released 09/25/97
- interface was compeletely redone with an IExplorer look and feel.
- 1st Contact now resides in the System Tray.
- international phone number support was added.
- international date support was added.
- new tool bar can be fully customized.

v1.04.00 - released 08/03/97
- 1st Contact now runs under NT 4.0 as well as Win95. This cleared up some problems that certain users were having with international versions of Win95.
- printing functions were added to print out phone lists and contact information.
- autodailer was made self-sufficient so Windows TAPI dialer is no longer being used.

v1.03.02 - released 05/02/97
- new contacts were not being saved properly, that has been fixed.

v1.03.01 - released 4/29/97
- changes were made to the database again (Country and Business Fax were added). New import facility to import v1.02 databases was added.
- White pages are now sorted and displayed by name.
- Yellow pages are now sorted and displayed by company name.
- User defined categories are NOT displayed until the category name has been changed from the default 'USER DEFINED'.
- New registration process was implemented to add five new administration features, allowing you to back up your registration codes, check to see if you have the latest version of 1st Contact, display your license agreement, order multiple copies at a discount and determine the status of your software.

v1.02 - released 4/4/97
- changes made to database necessitated an import facility so v1.01 databases can be imported.
- name was changed from Contacts+ to 1st Contact.
- many cosmetic fixes throughout the whole program.

v1.01 - released 3/29/97
- Zip Code field in Contact input screen now accepts Canadian Postal Codes as well as US Zip Codes.
- Zip Code field automatically capitalizes Canadian Zip Codes.
- Local long distance feature was added to allow those areas which need a '1' in front of a number in the same area code to use the autodialer.
- Win95 bug fix - the autodialer only dialed the business number, no matter which button (home or business) was selected.
- Win95 - minor screen display enhancements to make Contacts+ compatible with Win95 program guidelines.
