*** What's New in Contact Browser 4.05 ***

- Quick Search:

Added a Find toolbar to make it easier to find contacts without
having to use the advanced query functions.

The Find toolbar includes a combo box for entering search criteria
(saves 15 of the most recent searches), and Find First, Find next
  and Find Previous buttons.

Ctrl+F will take you to the combo box where you can enter your search
criteria. Press the ENTER key to execute the Find First.

Searches are performed on the following fields:

	 First Name
	 Middle
	 Last Name
	 Company
	 Spouse
	 Title
	 Position
	 Department
	 Office
	 Assistant
	 E-mail Address
	 Comments

- Export:

Contact Reports can now be exported to a delimited text file. You
can use Contact Browser's Report Wizard to create a report that
contains the information you need to export. Select Export from
the Options menu to save the report to a delimited text file.

- Private Icon:

Contacts that are private are now displayed with a padlock icon
in the contact list to make it easier to scan visually for private
  contacts.

- Improved Mail Features:

Contact Browser now uses the Microsoft Messaging API (MAPI32.DLL)
rather than the URL mailto protocol.

You can also send e-mail to multiple contacts at a time using a
Contact Report. Create a report of the contacts you want to send
mail to and select Send E-mail from the Options menu. Because of
the limitations of MAPI32 you can only create e-mail for up to 20
  contacts at a time.

- Custom Report Title:

You can now customize the title that is printed at the top of a
Contact Report. Before Printing a report, select Set Print Title
  from the Options menu.

- Dialer Improvements:

Dialer now shows Dialing location, Area Code and Calling Card
  information.

This information was requested by users that need to use multiple
  Dialing locations in their area.

- Remember Password:

Added "Remember my password" check box to the login dialog to make
logging in easier for people who do not use Contact Browser's
  multi-user capabilities.

- 24 Hour Time Format:

Changed all time functions to use 24 hour format. This is a part of
the internationalization effort to make Contact Browser more usable
  for non-U.S. customers

- International Date Format:

Contact Browser now uses regional date formats so dates are now shown
in the user's native regional format.

- Keyboard Support for Switching Panes:

Added keyboard support for switching from the Contact List pane to
the Editing pane. Select Switch Panes from the Window menu or use
the key combination Shift+F6 to toggle.

- Added a Quick Start Guide at startup to help new users become familiar
  with Contact Browser.

- Fixed display problem where tabs were not completely visible when using
  large fonts.

- You can now add documents to the documents tab using Drag and Drop.
Simply drag a document from any Explorer window onto the Documents tab.

well as changes. This was problem if you added or deleted contacts

the refresh option did not show these changes.

  edit fields.

- Added images to Tabs to make it easier identify each section.

- Added ellipses (...) to printed reports if a field is too large to fit
  in a column.

- Fixed registration of Data Access Objects during installation. Some
systems did not register DAO3035.DLL properly that would cause a page
fault when trying to run Contact Browser.
