personal use, go ahead, use it.

Use:
----
Upload Notifier tells you if new files have arrived in a specific
directory or subdirectories of that directory. This is very useful if
you're connected to a LAN (Local Area Network), or if you have an
FTP-site. Of course, to be able to receive files from a network, other
users must have permission to write files to your PC.

Installation:
-------------
Extract the ZIP-file to a directory and run the SETUP-program. A help-file
is included for information about specific settings.

The Files: (if you miss some, go to my homepage or mail me)
----------
FreeSpac.txt	- A sample text-file showing free diskspace.
Notify.exe	- The notification program.
Readme.txt	- This textfile.
SetUp.exe	- The setup program.
Upload.ini	- Configuration file for the setup program.
Upload.hlp	- The help-file.

Upgrades:
---------

You may be interested in newer (better) versions of this file.
Therefore it could be wise to mail me, the author, so I can put you on my
mailing-list.

Bug Reports:
------------

Please send bug-reports to me too.
Bug reports should include:
- the bug
- the upload.ini-file
- your upload-directory-name
- which operating system you use
- the contents of your upload-directory (filenames + directories only)
- your e-mail adress

Known bugs:
-----------

- If something goes wrong while running notify.exe, reset the Running-tag
in the upload.ini-file. This is only necessary if Windows collapses or
if Notify.exe causes major errors (in the way that Windows wants it
closed). This also is not really a bug. It means that Upload Notifier
couldn't finish processing and therefore couldn't reset the running-tag.
The tag is necessary because multiple instances of Upload Notifier can
  be running simultaneaously.

Updates:
--------

Version 1.0:
- It is 32-bits.

Version 1.1:
- It also can search subdirectories.
- Fixed 'bug' that caused Upload Notifier to see the '.'- and the '..'-
  directories.

If you have 16-bit version 1.0, please upgrade. Version 1.0 is quite a
mess.
