What is PostPad?
----------------

* Memo pad for Windows95 and Windows NT 4.0.
* Unobtrusive and easily accessible via an icon in the System Tray.
* Multiple tabbed topics.
* Store and launch URLs and file paths with a simple click of the mouse.
* Full printing capability.
* Fully customisable.

PostPad provides a convenient place for keeping to-do lists, reminders
and miscellaneous information. PostPad's interface is based on the model
of a tabbed notebook - each file is divided up into a set of topics,
each of which is displayed as a tabbed page. By using this model,
PostPad allows a large amount of information to be held and conveniently
accessed without the screen clutter associated with programs based on
the "sticky note" metaphor.

In order to provide easy access to stored information, PostPad can add
one or more icons to the SystemTray. When PostPad's window is closed,
the icon remains in the system tray. Double-clicking this icon immediately
restores the window, including the currently selected topic, cursor
position etc.

PostPad does not require any action to ensure that any notes are saved -
PostPad auto-saves whenever necessary. This allows you to treat PostPad
just like a paper-based notepad: whenever a note has been edited, the
software takes charge of making sure that the modifications are saved,
you do not have to remember.

PostPad provides a comprehensive set of editing features, printing
support and customisation options such as colours and fonts. It also
allows files and URLs to be launched directly from PostPad simply by
selecting the text corresponding to the path/URL and right clicking.

PostPad is shareware.

PostPad may be freely distributed, subject to the terms in the file
license.txt which accompanies the installation.
