PURPOSE:
-------
LOCKTITE disables your keyboard, period. Once you start the program, there
are only 2 ways to get out of LOCKTITE: type in the password (as outlined
below) or do a POWER OFF/RESET. Set your BIOS PASSWORD ENABLED, and your
computer is ...

	           ABSOLUTELY SAFE FROM INTRUDERS!

TO INSTALL THE LOCKTITE 6.2 DEMO PROGRAM:
----------------------------------------
From your WINDOWS desktop program, select FILES|RUN, and specifiy
either A:\SETUP.EXE (or the drive:\dir where the above 11 distributed
files are located). Follow the instructions to specify a target dir-
ectory for the LOCKTITE DEMO files (the SETUP program will propose
C:\LOCKTITE, but you can select any new or existing legal subdirectory).

WHEN SETUP IS COMPLETED, YOU MUST EXIT TO DOS AND RESTART WINDOWS FOR
THE VIRTUAL DEVICE DRIVER vrbtd.386 TO BE ACTIVATED -- UNTIL YOU
RESTART WINDOWS, LOCKTITE WILL NOT WORK! The Setup program will close
all your open programs, and exit to DOS; if your system does not
automatically restart WINDOWS, type WIN (and hit ENTER) to do so.

RUNNING THE LOCKTITE 6.2 DEMO:
-----------------------------
SETUP will create a LOCKTITE Folder with two icons in it: the LOCKTITE
DEMO program (or SHORTCUT to the DEMO program, in the case of WIN95),
and this file README. Double-click on the LOCKTITE icon to run the Demo,
or on the README icon to read this file.

TERMINATING THE LOCKTITE 6.2 DEMO:
---------------------------------
There are only 2 ways to get out of LOCKTITE: type in the password
(as outlined below) or do a POWER OFF/RESET. Set your BIOS PASSWORD ENABLED,
and your computer is ABSOLUTELY SAFE FROM INTRUDERS!

AS INSTALLED, THE LOCKTITE 6.2 DEMO PASSWORD IS.... PASSWORD.

Press the SPACEBAR to reveal the Password Input Box. Type the 8 characters
in the word PASSWORD, upper- or lower-case, and click on ENTER to exit from
the LOCKTITE DEMO back to your desktop. At any time, you can click on the
REGISTER button to access the Order Form and Information.

FEATURES:
--------
While LOCKTITE is running, the SPACEBAR is the only key which will work
on your keyboard: CTRL-ALT-DEL is disabled, CTRL-BREAK is disabled,
CTRL-ESC is disabled, ALT_TAB is disabled ... your computer is locked up
tight. Meanwhile, background tasks (such as FAX RECEIVE) continue normally.

LOCKTITE keeps track of invalid PASSWORD attempts. After three invalid
attempts, the program will lock up the computer for a customizable
number of minutes - one minute in this demo version. After 1 minute,
the time digits will turn yellow, and the SPACEBAR will once again
reveal the Password Input Box. However, the box background color will
be red, an indication that 3 invaild attempts have been made.

JUST A REMINDER:
---------------
THIS IS A DEMO VERSION, and some of the features of the full program
are not available. When running the full LOCKTITE version 6.2, you can
choose between the System Time Clock, a Blank screen, or any *.SCR
screensaver you have installed on your system. You can change the length
of time the program will lock up when 3 incorrect passwords have been
attempted, and of course you can change the password.

LOCKTITE is in use on DOD networks, at USAF installations, and on
workstations at Banks.
