I.  Installation

To install this program from within windows choose file|run from the program manager, or start|run from the task bar and run the setup.exe program included with this distribution.

II.  What the program does, and how to use it

This program plots/prints/saves/graphs transcendental functions in terms of x. using linear and logarithmic axes.

The following steps are the essentials for graphing and printing an equation with WinPlot.

1.	Choose New from the file menu.
2.	Set the type of graph you want by selecting Graph Type from the edit menu.
3.	Enter the titles of your graph by selecting Titles from the edit menu.
4.	Enter your equations and select its active state by selecting Equations from the edit menu.
5.	Select Graph Aspects from the settings menu to fine tune your axes and other graph parameters.
6.	Select Print from the file menu to print your graph.


III. Licensing, Registration and Distribution

WinPlot 2.0, copyright 1995 by Thomas John De Matteis,  is a shareware product. The following contains legal binding information about licensing, registration and distribution of WinPlot. If you do not agree with the conditions and rules as stated in this document,  then please remove your copy of WinPlot 2.0 immediately.

The complete package of WinPlot 2.0, consists of  WinPlot 2.0's  executable file, associated help file,  readme file and associated dynamic link library files as follows:

WinPlot.exe	- The main executable
WinPlot.hlp	- The help file, less the U.S. Government's portion.
DIBMod.dll	- DIB support utilities
ReadMe.txt	- The readme file

No component in whole or in part  of the WinPlot 2.0 package may be distributed individually, disassembled, copied, reverse engineered, or altered in any form. This includes all resources in the WinPlot 2.0 package, interface items, menus and dialogs.


WinPlot 2.0 Distribution

1.  Only shareware copies may be freely distributed by individual users for trial utilization. 

2.  In addition, the shareware copies may be uploaded to Bulletin Board Systems, FTP sites, Usenet newsgroups and any network sites providing its users with access to download it for trial purposes. 

3.  Shareware copies may NOT be distributed with any software package.

4.  Shareware copies may be distributed as a component of the SimTel software collection, in CD-ROM disks published by Coast to Coast Telecommunications, and by vendors licensed and approved by Coast to Coast Telecommunications. 

5.  Shareware copies may NOT be distributed in CD-ROM disks, diskettes or any other media, without express authorization of the author, the single exception being  case (4) above. 

6.  The registered version may only be distributed by the author of WinPlot 2.0.


WinPlot 2.0 Registration

1.  Individual  users are required to register WinPlot 2.0 after a 30 day trial period.  To obtain a registered copy, individual users must fill out the Individual User Registration Form included in this package,  and mail it to the author of WinPlot 2.0, together with the registration fee.  After the 30 day trial period the WinPlot program will cease to operate.

2.  Shareware copies may NOT be used on commercial computers or an employees home computer for commercial work related tasks.  In both cases registration is required, which can be obtained by filling out either the Individual User Registration Form or the Site License Registration Form and mailing it to the author of WinPlot 2.0, together with the appropriate registration fee.  Site registrations must be obtained by filling out the Site License Registration Form and mailing it to the author of WinPlot 2.0, together with the appropriate registration fee.
