Overview of Easy Money Finder:
===============================

This program finds 'extra' money in your projected budget. It allows you to
experiment with different bill paying, savings and spending scenarios. It
provides a simple list for paying bills. It guarantees that your minimum
allowable check book balance is maintained, and it warns you of potential
bill paying problems. Most importantly, it tells you exactly how much 'extra'
money you have over any specified period of time.

Begin using the program by 'testing' it out with simple figures to get
familiar with it. Just click the 'Compute Budget' button. Put in a starting
'Check Book Balance', and a 'Minimum Allowed' check book balance.
Click 'Compute Budget' again.

Now add a simple budget item, like 'Rent' on the first of the month, using
the 'Add Budget Item' button. Also add an Income item, like 'MyPaycheck', on
the 15th and last day of each month. Read about 'Adding Budget Items' under
the 'Help' menu if you like. After you see how the program works with a few
Income and Payment items, erase the 'test' data ( using 'Erase Data' under
the 'File' menu ), and start entering your own actual bills, paychecks, check
book balance, etc. Remember to 'Save' your work occasionally, using 'Save'
under the 'File' menu.

Once all of your incomes and expenses are entered, I suggest that you begin
using the program the way I do. Run the program each Saturday. Use the
projected budget list to write checks for all bills through the NEXT
Saturday. Update the 'From' date on main screen to next Saturday's date.
Update 'Check Book Balance' with your new balance. Click 'Compute Budget'.
See the new extra money. 'Save' your work. Be happy.
