TESTKEEPER (Version 5.2)

written by Carlos Moya

*** INSTALLATION ***

If you obtained Testkeeper from a BBS, from the Internet or some other
online service, the files are probably in a compressed .ZIP format.
You will need some sort of unzipping utility such as PKUNZIP 2.04g
to extract them.

Extract the files into the directory in which you want Testkeeper
to reside (an empty directory is recommended). Run the Testkeeper Setup
program (TKSETUP.EXE) by double-clicking on TKSETUP.EXE in File Manager
or choosing FILE|RUN from Program Manager and typing C:\dir\TKSETUP.EXE,
where dir is the directory you chose to put Testkeeper in. Use the setup
program to set up a database (a collection of folders) and, if you wish,
Program Manager icons (Win95 Start Menu Shortcuts).

TESTKEEPER Program Files
- TKEEPER.EXE - Testkeeper
- TKSETUP.EXE - Testkeeper Setup
- TKEEPER.HLP - Testkeeper Help
- TKEEPER.INI - Testkeeper and Testkeeper Setup's initialization file
- README.TXT - Testkeeper's ReadMe file (Read it!)
- INSTALL.TXT - This file

The following files must be present in the WINDOWS\SYSTEM directory before
Testkeeper or Testkeeper Setup can be executed.

- VBRUN300.DLL - Microsoft Visual Basic runtime library
- CTL3DV2.DLL - 3D controls extension for Windows

If you have CTL3DV2.DLL already (MANY programs use it), check to see
which one is more recent. If the version you have is more current than
the one that comes with Testkeeper you can delete the CTL3DV2.DLL
that comes with Testkeeper.

You can download VBRUN300.DLL from anywhere if you don't already have
it. It can be found on Compuserve, Prodigy and AOL and almost every BBS.
It can also be found at Microsoft's FTP server on the internet at
ftp.microsoft.com in the Softlib\MSLFILES directory-
filename: VBRUN300.EXE
