CROSS PIX DESCRIPTION AND FEATURES

CROSS PIX is a graphical crossword simulation that uses bitmap pictures for 
clues. The program is designed as a spelling aid for young children, ages
4 through 12. colorful graphics, speech and sound effects enhance the game to 
keep children's attention. A built-in scoring system allows players to 
compete for high scores( top-ten scores are saved). Games may be saved and 
reloaded to continue at a later time. Graphical hints are provided, as 
well as several options for setting playing difficulty.


HOW TO USE CROSS PIX

The program runs under MS-Windows, and requires the file VBRUN300.DLL to 
be in your windows\system subdirectory or in the same directory as 
CROSSPIX.EXE. 

To run directly from the Program Manager, browse to the directory you 
unzipped to and select CROSSPIX.EXE. 

Detailed instructions on using the controls are provided by way of an 
online Help system.  


DISTRIBUTION STATUS

The demonstration version of CROSSPIX contains eight puzzles in four 
difficulty levels. You may freely distribute this CROSSPIX demo to try out. 
If you like the program, and would like to purchase the registered version, 
which includes 100 puzzles and over 350 bitmap clues, send a check or
