4. Installation

The software can be installed in 2 ways:

The easiest way is to run the INSTALL program from the directory
where it is located. This will create a directory on your hard
disk, copy all necessary files and selected configurations and
create desktop icon objects if desired.

A manual installation can also be done as long as all files
required for program operation detailed above are present and
    located in the same directory.

5. Getting started

If your communication software configuration was INCLUDED in this
  package:

Be sure the LOG FILE in SETUP is the same as your communication
    software program.

If your software configuration was NOT included in this package,
you will need to initially set up the following for each of your
  communication programs not included:

   Required SETUP
    LOG FILE
    CONNECTIONS

   Optional SETUP
    FILE TRANSFERS

If you wish to track costs:

Edit PROVIDER COSTS to reflect your providers and their costs.

Add the service names, as shown in the log files and reported by
InfoMiles, you wish to track costs for and link them to your
    providers in SERVICE PROVIDERS.

  Notes:

Be sure logging is turned ON in your communication software
    options or setup.

When using different versions of communication programs, the
format of the usage log file MAY change between versions
resulting in inaccurate reports. This problem can be overcome
by inspecting the log file with a text editor and splitting the
log file into seperate files at the point where the format changes.
Configurations can then be set up for each file.

The provided logging utility, InfoLog, can be used to create usage
logs for communication programs that do not. The default
configuration template INFOLOG.CFG can be used to read the log
    files generated by this utility.
