
                  TriChlor Multimedia Book Viewer
                  ===============================

The TriChlor Multimedia Book Viewer (TRIVIEW) allows the user to view
electronic multimedia books released by TriChlor.  These multimedia books
contain not only text, but also images, sounds and film clips.  

The first book, released by TriChlor and Sa'ch Vie^.t in conjunction with 
TRIVIEW version 1, will be "Mo^.t Co+n Gio' Bu.i" by Tra^`n Tro.ng Kim.


REQUIREMENTS:
------------

Harware:
   
   *  IBM PC compatible computer 
   *  Mouse
   *  256-color or better SVGA or EVGA graphics card (TRIVIEW will run under 
      VGA, but the color images will not look good).
   *  Sound card (TRIVIEW will run without a sound card, but you will not
      get most sound effects)

Software:

   *  Microsoft Windows 3.1 or newer
   *  VISCII TrueType fonts in VNFON1TT.ZIP (in the same archives).
      These fonts have been installed automatically on your computer if
      you have installed the WinVNKey or VietVu Vietnamese keyboards.


INSTALLATION:
------------

   *  Unzip TRIVIEW1.ZIP into a blank, temporary directory on your hard
drive.

   *  Start Windows.

   *  Go to the FILE menu of the Program Manager and choose RUN

   *  Use the Browse command to go to the SETUP.EXE file in the temporary
directory into which you unzipped TRIVIEW1.ZIP.

   *  Click Okay, then follow the instructions of the SETUP program.

   *  You can delete all files in the temporary directory after 
installation is completed (provided the temporary directory is not
also used as the permanent directory of TRIVIEW). 

Notes:  

(1) You must install all books released for TRIVIEW into the same
directory where you have installed TRIVIEW.

(2) Books released for TRIVIEW can be executed by themselves or 
from the TRIVIEW menu.  If you cannot call them from the TRIVIEW
menu, then make sure that the "Working Directory" item under the
"Properties" item of the Program Manager's File menu for TRIVIEW is set 
to the correct common directory.
