hi all,

pythagor.exe was written with turbo-pascal(tm). this programm 
offers the programming of sounds with exact frequencies. so
does pythagor. so we aren't anymore bound by the well tuned 
harmonic scales, that were created in the time of Johann Sebastian 
Bach (The Well Tuned Piano) and are the base of the play command 
of programms like hypercard(tm) or quickbasic(tm), not to mention 
the other stuff. we can construe micro-intervals and other real 
different things, that are well known from the music of, for 
example, american composer La Monte Young, and from nature.
the structure of the programm is very primitiv. there is a loop 
of seven lines of sound(Hz) and delay(ms). pythagor.exe will ask 
you to enter some numbers. the numbers for Hz and ms have to be 
entered in different stages. this makes pythagor.exe a little bit 
difficult, but also very flexible. if things have to be calculated, 
the computer will do it for us. if you enter 5 for nospheres and 
4 for random, the other numbers for sound will be multiplied by 
6 or 7 or 8 or 9, creating some kind of minimal random blues. 
play it with some frieds with as many laptops as possible. with 
big nums for ms. if you don't know anything of acustics, just enter 
the nums, you feel you should enter, and listen. you will allways 
be better than any random algorithm. 1 x a Hz, 2 x a Hz, 3 x a Hz, 
4 x a Hz and so on, thats all. you can check it out now.
