Operation OverType - History

NOTE: both major and  minor bugs  are being  permanently added/removed  without
      announcing in this file :-)

0.01 - first version released

0.02 - number of falling words at the same time was increased from five to ten

0.03 - words fall down at  various speed:  green ones  are slow  and cyan  are
        "normal" while red are fast; from time to time you can get extra points
        for shooting down bonus (magenta) ones  - so OOT is now also  strategic
        game :-)
      - uppercase characters are more "valuable", you will also get more points
        for shooting down red and cyan words than for green ones
      - word lists were "remapped" to become "Just Type Compatible" (it has so-
        me meaning for Czechs only)
      - some command-line options were added (see `faq.txt')

0.04 - two new types of words added
      - you  can  get  more  points  for  magenta  words  (bonus,  "watchers"),
        especially in higher levels
      - OOT is "dollarware" from this version (i. e. registration fee is $1)

0.05 - UFO-BOSSes were added at the very  end of each  level (pretty fast  and
        durable)
      - two new command-line options were added (-boring, -ultrachewingtoy)
      - speed of falling words is now increasing with level number
      - extra-bonus for completing all twelve levels
      - several audio-visual effects were added/improved

0.06 - you can choose  number of words falling simultaneously  ("-pieceofcake"
        option: 7, no command-line option: 10, "-heavyduty": 12)
      - number of lives of each boss now varies from one to five
      - shocking missiles were added (see `faq.txt')

0.07 - fire or not to fire  (at a watcher) - that's  a question ... :-) -  see
        `faq.txt'
      - word lists can  be  located  in  various  directories  now  ("-D<path>"
        command-line option)
      - "blinking mode" (10H: AH=10H, AL=3, BL=1) automatically set on  EGA/VGA
        video cards (it disables using of high-intensity-colors for background,
        if you need them, use BLINK.EXE  to reset this mode back after  running
        program)

0.08 - average typing speed is now displayed after each level (WPM, CPM, TPM)
      - "local" hall_of_fame files feature  was  added  ("-local"  command-line
        option)

0.09 - you can choose maximal length of falling words
      - "star wars" :-) mode implemented
      - number of levels may vary from one to twenty-four

0.10 - you can increase length of every level twice ("-double") or decrease it
        twice ("-half")
      - machos run OOT with "-macho", wimps with "-wimp" command-line options
      - you can look at extended character set used in OOT ("-charset")

0.11 - you can turn off built-in "Alko" screen font
      - you can turn off uppercase characters
      - you can turn off diacritic marks (probably in Czech and Slovak only)
      - main hero (you!) is now "visible" :-)

0.12  - "automatic" mode implemented
      - hi-score displayed at the beginning of each level
      - maximal number of UFOs in one attack is now 20!

0.13  - in "boring" mode all words fall down with the same speed
      - program runs in EGA resolution instead of VGA
      - photorealistic picture of main hero added!

0.14  - at the beginning of every attack all words fall down at "medium" speed
      - introduction "story" added
