Changes from LISTRS v1.2 to v2.0

ProgList excludes Windows programs from its list by looking
inside .EXE files for codes that identify them as Windows 3.x or
Windows 95 programs. Since a few programs do not follow the
standard formats, LISTRS.INI has places to exclude Windows
programs and include DOS programs that are mis-identified.

ProgList changes to the drive and directory of a selected program
to avoid the "Bad command or file name" message that would result
from trying to run a program that is not on the path.

Both programs ignore long-filename directory entries.
Previously, DirList interpreted them as additional directories.

Both programs can read an initialization file that is in a
directory other than the one where they are stored. As a result,
these programs can run off a CD-ROM.

Some bugs were fixed. ProgList interpreted a name on the command
line without wildcards as a directory. DirList considered hidden
       files to be directories.

Changes from LISTRS v1.1 to v1.2

       DIRLIST.EXE, PROGLIST.EXE:
The registration-reminder screens have simpler instructions and a
button to write LISTRS.REG with the SiteCode in place. The /S
switch calls up this screen since its functionality is replaced
       by the "Write LISTRS.REG" button.

       LISTRS.ZIP:
VENDOR.TXT was replaced with VENDINFO.DIZ, which is a structured
file for conveying much more information to vendors and users.

Changes from LISTRS v1.0 to v1.1

       DIRLIST.EXE, PROGLIST.EXE:
The sorting routine no longer fails when file names with digits
are compared to similar file names without digits.

The /W (wide display) and /P (page pause) command line switches
are not ignored if /T (type on screen) is not used.

These programs respond to fast or slow mouse-clicking. In other
words, the next screen will be displayed or become operational as
soon as the left mouse button is released.

Midnight is now displayed as 12:00am instead of 0:00am.

The serious-error message screen no longer drops a line of text.

       DIRLIST.EXE:
This program changes the current disk drive to another disk when
it changes to a directory on that disk.

This program no longer exits when it has successfully removed a
       directory.

       PROGLIST.EXE:
The built-in editor was replaced with a user-selected editor.
       Specify this editor in LISTRS.INI.

This program no longer ignores directory or wildcard information
on the command line. However, it assumes that a program to be
run is either in the local directory or on the path. [This was
changed in version 2.0. See above.]

       LISTRS.ZIP:
This package now includes LISTRS.INI (the initialization file),
README.TXT, WHATSNEW.TXT (this file), SRLIB.FRM (an order form
for the alphanumeric-sorting programmer library) and VENDOR.TXT
(distribution and charging permission for vendors, etc.).
[SRLIB.FRM was replaced by SORTAN.FRM in version 2.0 and
VENDOR.TXT was replaced by VENDINFO.DIZ in version 1.2.]
