encouraged to post DOCAID for downloading by their users, as
long as the above conditions are met.

    - upgrade notices and discounts on future versions,
    - support by email (Compuserve) and FAX from MASYCOM,

        cross-reference program).

Registered users are free to distribute systems which have been
developed with the assistance of DOCAID, HYSHOW and HYXREF.

Registration is for a single user. If more than one person will use
DOCAID, then additional copies or a site license should be purchased.

#The ShareWare Concept# HT 2 1 23 80 3 15
Shareware distribution gives users a chance to try software before
buying it. If you try a Shareware program and continue using it, you
are expected to register. Individual programs differ on details: some
request registration, while others require it after a specified trial
period. With registration, you get anything from the simple right to
continue using the software to an updated program with orinted manual.

Copyright laws apply to both Shareware and commercial software, and
the copyright holder retains all rights, wiht a few sprcific exceptions
as stated below. Shareware authors are accomplished programmers, just
like commercial authors, and the programs are of comparable quality.
(In both cases, there are good programs and bad ones!) The main
difference is the method of distribution. The author specifically grants
the right to copy and distribute the software, either to all and sundry
or to a specific group. For example, some authors require written
permission before a commercial disk vendor may copy their Shareware.

Shareware is a distribution method, not a type of software. You should
find software that suits your needs and your pocketbook, whether it is
commercial or Shareware. The Shareware system makes fitting your needs
easier, because you can try before you buy. And because the overhead is
low, prices are low also. Shareware has the ultimate money-back
guarantee -- if you don't use the product, you don't pay for it.

#Company and Site Licenses# HT 2 1 23 80 3 15

                SITE LICENSES AND QUANTITY PURCHASES

All corporate, business, government or other commercial users of
    DOCAID must be registered.
We offer quantity discounts as well as site licensing.

Site licensing agreements allow duplication and distribution of a
specified number of copies within the licensed institution.
Duplication of multiple copies is not allowed except through
execution of a licensing agreement. Site license fees are based upon
the number of users using DOCAID. Note that with a site
license, only one copy of the program will be sent. You will be
    responsible for distributing additional copies.

Please call or write for more information.

Discounts are not cumulative; they apply to single orders of like
products only. Unit prices are the same as for individual users.
