TorqueWare releases Usenet Newsgroup offline reader for CompuServe users.

Tulsa, Oklahoma, Sept 10, 1995 -- Riding on the heels of CompuServe's new
pricing plan, TorqueWare has developed a new offline reader that will
allow CompuServe users to quickly download Usenet Newsgroup articles and
both read and reply to them offline.

Called NewsCIS, the product provides a list of several thousand Newsgroups
from which users can select from. After entering their CompuServe and
NewsCIS setup information, one click of a button is all that is needed to
subscribe to those Newsgroups, and start downloading articles from them.

While reading articles offline, users point and click to the Newsgroup(s)
they would like to read. All of the article SUBJECTS for that Newsgroup
pop-up in a scrolling section for selection. Simple keystrokes or mouse
clicks allow for easy transition between articles. A handy FIND feature
lets you search articles for specific text.

Articles can be viewed and edited in the default NewsCIS editor, or they
can be read in the user's editor of choice by typing in the name of their
favorite editor such as Write, NotePad, WordPad, etc., in the setup area.

NewsCIS provides a simple E-Mail feature which allows users to create
E-Mail to be sent to an article's author. In addition, it has the ability
to create replies to the articles themselves which will be posted to the
Newsgroups on the Internet. Again, all of the E-Mail and REPLIES are sent
with one click of a button.

NewsCIS was released August 22, 1995. A full-featured, timed-edition
version is available from several CompuServe forum libraries, such as the
INTERNET RESOURCES forum. Users can acquire NewsCIS by accessing a
CompuServe forum (such as Internet Resources) by typing [GO INETRES], and
searching in the libraries for the file NEWSCIS.ZIP. TorqueWare can be
reached at 76460.1305@compuserve.com and soon on the Web at
http://www.torqueware.com (currently under construction).
