RETAILER OF MACINTOSH OS COMPATIBLES

SEPTEMBER 14, 1995 -- (AUSTIN, TEXAS) - Power Computing Corporation today
named Computer City, North America's pre-eminent computer superstore
retailer, the exclusive retailer of its line of award-winning Apple
Macintosh OS compatible systems. The PowerPC-based Macintosh OS
compatibles will be available for sale at Computer City locations
nationwide this week.

1995 - the first Macintosh OS product ever to receive the distinction.

PowerPC 601+ RISC processor, a 256K Level 2 Cache, Quad-Spin (4X) CD-ROM
and 15 software titles including Claris Works, Intuit's Quicken and
Now-Up-To Date and Contact among others.

In addition to superior product performance, Power Computing implements an
extensive service and support program and has authorized Computer City's
Technical Service Departments as authorized Service Departments for Power
Computing systems.
