Olicom Networking Solutions to be Bundled with Gateway PCs

September 20, 1995, Dallas, Texas -- Olicom (NASDAQ: NMS, OLCMF), a leading
supplier of high-performance networking solutions, today announced an
agreement with Gateway 2000, Inc. to bundle Olicom's Token-Ring adapters
with Gateway's computer systems. 

Under the agreement, Gateway will offer Olicom Token-Ring products and will
provide factory installation for no additional charge. Gateway will
initially purchase Olicom's ISA Token-Ring adapters and may later bring
additional Olicom products into its product line.

"Combining one of the leading PC manufacturer's products with our leading
Token-Ring adapters will provide customers with a more complete solution,"
said Ron Pinkus, director of marketing for Olicom USA, Inc. "We are
especially pleased with this new relationship because Gateway 2000 will
resell these products under the Olicom brand name. That is clearly an
affirmation of the performance and quality of our product line."

Olicom's ISA adapters have been consistently rated as the industry's top
performing ISA adapters by an independent lab. The company recently
introduced the industry's first Token-Ring PCI Adapter to meet the
performance needs of the next generation of computer systems.

Gateway 2000, a Fortune 500 company founded in 1985, currently sells more
PC-compatible systems through the direct market channel in the United
States than any other PC manufacturer. A recent study by Computer
Intelligence InfoCorp shows that PCs from Gateway 2000 led the industry in
repeat purchase or brand "loyalty" ratings during 1994. Gateway's rating
far out-distanced its nearest competitors. The company's 1994 sales were
$2.7 billion. Gateway 2000 is listed on the NASDAQ market as GATE.
