CAPCOM AND WHITE WOLF ANNOUNCE ALLIANCE AT GENCON

SUNNYVALE, Calif. -- August 21, 1995 -- In the world of video games, it
doesn't get any hotter than Capcom Entertainment. In the world of
role-playing games, it doesn't get any darker than White Wolf. An alliance
between the two companies is about to rock both respective industries.
Capcom has announced they have reached a long term licensing agreement
with White Wolf to publish computer and video game products based on one
aspect of their World of Darkness game setting The first product planned
is Werewolf: The Apocalypse which is also one of the first products being
developed by Capcom Digital Studios, Capcom's newly established U.S-based
Research and Development division Capcom plans to release Werewolf: The
Apocalypse for the Sony PlayStation and Sega Saturn during the second
quarter of 1996.

"Capcom has always been about exploring the borders of the imagination, and
White Wolf recognizes that those borders are limited only by the timidity
of the mind," said Greg Ballard, president of Capcom Entertainment. "White
Wolf brought Street Fighter into the role playing genre, and now it's our
turn to create the virtual environment for their World of Darkness We are
confident White Wolfs gothic feel will translate beautifully from paper to
screen "

Capcom and White Wolf s first collaboration was the 1994 release of Street
Fighter: The Storytelling Game. Based on the mega-hit Street Fighter
series of video games, Street Fighter: The Storytelling Game provided for
the first time, the ability for players to develop stories of their
favorite fighters using their own imagination. It quickly became one of
the most popular projects White Wolf ever created

"White Wolf has had a long history with Capcom," commented Steve Wieck,
president of White Wolf "Street Fighter: The Storytelling Game generated a
huge response from

White Wolf fans and from the millions of gamers who have enjoyed the entire
Street Fighter series. Werewolf: The Apocalypse is one of the first
settings we created, we are very excited to once again work with Capcom
and to develop this ambitious product."

Werewolf: The Apocalypse, based on the popular "paper and pen" role-playing
game, centers on heroism in the face of overwhelming odds. While other
heroes have given up the fight, the Garou, the werewolves of legend,
continue to struggle against corruption. To persevere in a nearly hopeless
battle, to muster the strength to keep hope alive against relentless
adversity, is the fearsome challenge that the Garou packs must face.
Werewolf will combine many elements of horror and fantasy to create a rich
texture of gothic environment that promises to reach into the very soul of
its audience
