"The Graham Utilities for OS/2"
now provides OS/2 based system diagnostics

Brunswick, VIC, AUSTRALIA, April 16, 1995 -- The version 1.04 of The Graham
Utilities for OS/2 now includes a systems diagnostics package for OS/2
systems. Version 1.04 is also suitable for translation into other SBCS
languages, currently V1.04 is also available in native German.

This version adds six programs and modules to the already strong suite of
over fifty applications. The new utilities add two more HPFS specific
programs, two disaster recovery assistance programs, a systems diagnostics
package and a new disk editor module which allows HPFS disks to be edited
in their native format. All of the base HPFS disk structures are able to
be edited. All of the HPFS structures are documented with this release.

The diagnostics program allows you to test and report on individual aspects
of your computer system including, System Configuration, Parallel and
Serial Port tests and configuration, Video tests including text and
graphics test, Floppy Disk tests, Hard Disks tests and Keyboard tests.

"The new release proves our commitment to producing new and exciting
software, on time and at reasonable cost to OS/2 users. To keep the cost
of software down, registered users will receive a free upgrade. The suite
currently contains 52 applications, and this is expected to grow to about
70 to 90. There is no expected price increase. In actual fact, there has
been a price drop. The recommended retail price (RRP) has been dropped
from USD$133.00 to USD$93.00." says chief software architect Chris
Graham.

"We are excited to enter into the OS/2 market place at this time, as it is
growing at totally unexpected rates. The utilities were conceived to fill
the rather large and obvious hole in the OS/2 market: the lack of
consistent and easy to use utilities which everyone needs to manage their
systems on a day to day basis."

The utilities package comes with a re-edited 320+ page plus manual which is
also included as an INF file for easy on line access. Both 3.5" and 5.25"
media is supplied as standard. OS/2 version 1.2 and above is fully
supported.

A demonstration version of the utilities: The Graham Utilities LIGHT for
OS/2 has been uploaded to various sites around the world. It is available
on CompuServe (File: GULITE.ZIP, Library: 4, Forum: OS2USER) and at the
following FTP sites: U.S.A., Hobbes: ftp-os2.nmsu.edu, U.S.A., Walnut
Creek: ftp-os2.cdrom.com, Germany, University of Stuttgart:
ftp.uni-stuttgart.de). The LIGHT version of the utilities features 19 out
of the 52 applications and includes the complete .INF file so that further
reading can be done.
