Interpretive Software Ships Version 4.0 of The Feeling's Mutual

1200 Funds and 55 Fund Families Now Covered

Charlottesville, VA, July 71 1995 -- Interpretive Software, Inc. is now
shipping version 4.0 of The Feeling's Mutual (TFM), a mutual fund database
and financial planning tool for investors and independent financial
planners.

The goal of TFM is to help people plan for a more secure financial future
using mutual funds as the cornerstone for their investments. The program
will help one better understand one's long term investment needs and
determine a realistic savings plan for goals such as retirement or a
child's college tuition.

The latest release increases the coverage of mutual funds from 800 to 1200
and provides detailed information on 55 of the best known mutual fund
families. TFM is not affiliated with any investment service provider and
is therefore a completely independent information resource. The program
and manual are designed for the novice investor, but some of the
sophisticated analysis techniques will prove useful to the professional
investment advisor as well.

The most exciting feature is our unique risk and load adjusted analysis of
funds based on the user's investment horizon, age and risk tolerance.
Using this investor profile, the software can quickly generate a
personalized list of mutual funds for consideration. Qualifying funds are
automatically sorted by risk and load adjusted return. This feature is
especially important given the current uncertainties in the bond and
equity markets.

Standard features in TFM 4.0 include inflation adjusted savings and annuity
projections, an on-line news letter and mutual fund article reference
list. Fund information includes 1, 3, 5 and 10 year return, bull and bear
market performance, percentile ranking within the database, asset
allocation, load expenses and minimum investment family information
includes services offered, account types available, state tax free funds
offered and fund objectives. The manual includes a complete description of
how to use the software, a primer on mutual funds and a section on some
simple investment strategies.

TFM is available for Windows, Macintosh and MS-DOS operating systems for
$60 and includes the first database upgrade free of charge. Yearly
upgrades thereafter are $25 for registered users.
