Galacticomm, Inc. teams up with TVData to bring newspapers online

Fort Lauderdale, FL -- June 20, 1995 -- Galacticomm, Inc., the leading
developer of online interactive software, and TVData, the leading supplier
of television listings and features to the publishing industry, have
joined forces to jointly market their online products to newspapers and
other publications.

"We're delighted to welcome TVData's content to the growing array of online
applications Galacticomm can offer the publishing industry," says
Galacticomm President and CEO Scott Brinker. "The online products
available from Galacticomm and over 150 independent software vendors, such
as TVData -- along with the systems integration services of our Network
and Integration Services division -- can offer these publications a
comprehensive solution for creating an online service."

TVData's PC-based program, TVData Online, allows end-users to receive cable
system-specific daily television listings and features from an online
service running Galacticomm's Worldgroup online interactive software.

"With so many newspapers running the Galacticomm platform, we're very
excited that we can bring our content and knowledge of the newspaper
industry to this market," says TVData's President and CEO Art Basin.
"Worldgroup provides everything newspapers need to launch an online
service, and TVData Online provides them access to the most accurate and
comprehensive database of television information available."

Worldgroup is client/server software that can support well over 200
simultaneous users on a single DOS machine via modem, LAN and (optionally)
the Internet, X.25, and ISDN. The freely distributable client runs on the
user's PC under Windows and provides a multimedia graphical interface.
Worldgroup offers users e-mail, public message areas, polls, file
transfer, and conferencing. In conjunction with Galacticomm's Internet
Connectivity Option (ICO), a publication can launch its Worldgroup system
on the Intern et and provide a gateway to the 'Net for its local callers
with telnet, ftp, e-mail, newsgroups, and more. With ICO's World-Wide Web
server support, publications can also launch a Web site on the Internet.

Through its Network and Integration Services (NIS) division, Galacticomm
can assist organizations in planning and implementing Worldgroup systems.
NIS services include consulting, systems integration, training programs,
advanced support, and turnkey systems. The latest version of TVData Online
will debut at NEXPO, the [1m[1][0mNewspaper Association of America's
Technical Exposition and Conference, June 24-28, in Atlanta, GA.
Demonstrations of Worldgroup will also be available at the TVData booth
#1945.

booth at CONNECTIONS X (#10), a new media conference sponsored by NAA,
June 23-24, in Atlanta.
