NEW TRANSFER PRO FOR WINDOWS FROM DIT, INC.

Features Support for Macintosh CD-ROMs, Improved Disk Formatting and
Support of 4GB Partitions on Macintosh Disks

Digital Instrumentation Technology, Inc. (DIT) announces an enhanced
version of its highly popular TransferPro for Windows software.
TransferPro is a high-speed file transfer program that enables users to
quickly and easily read and write Macintosh files on their PC.

"We have added a number of new features to TransferPro for Windows that our
customers in the desktop publishing and pre-press markets specifically
requested," said Robert Justice, President of DIT, Inc. "Moreover, we've
also made the program easier than ever to install and use."

The new TransferPro for Windows offers vastly improved formatting for
Macintosh. It now formats according to drive capacity rather than vendor
ID. TransferPro allows the user to write a Macintosh device to the disk or
cartridge. DIT has increased the size of Macintosh disks supported from
1GB to 4GB per partition, and added support for 2 tera byte Macintosh
partitions which will be available with the next Macintosh operating
system. "Desktop publishing users who are constantly moving large files
will particularly appreciate the increased storage capacity," added
Justice.

TransferPro for Windows now includes graphics image viewers and converters
that enable users to preview a large number of graphics images, and
convert graphics images from one type to another. Graphics images that are
supported include: TIFF, JPEG, PCX, TARGA, DIB, DCX, GIF, BMP, WMF, PICT,
CALS, SUN Raster, MAC, PSD (Photoshop), PCD (Kodak Photo CD), and many
more.

Another key enhancement in TransferPro for Windows is the addition of a
diskette, cartridge, and hard disk database feature. The database can
track the disk label, the type of format on the disk (Macintosh or
MS-DOS), the disk directory, and the disk file structure. Reports can then
be printed listing the file structure of the disks, and database searches
can be done to find the location of particular files. This enables
customers to keep a master TransferPro database of all their cartridges,
and then be able to locate the cartridge containing the file they are
interested in via quick database searches. Most importantly, TransferPro's
database is stored in standard dBASE format, and is easily compatible with
dBASE, FoxPro, and Clipper databases so that users can easily integrate
the TransferPro database information into their current database.

Other notable enhancements to TransferPro for Windows include:

- Support for reading Macintosh formatted CD-ROM drives
- Ability to work with multiple partition Macintosh disks
- A switch allowing for file copy integrity checking to ensure
  error-free copying of disks.
- Enhanced file handling features
- New graphical interface for defining the automatic conversions
- High quality, easy-to-use Windows-based installer with an automatic
  system configuration feature.

TransferPro for Windows performs virtually all file transfer operations on
personal computer media using either a built-in diskette drive or standard
external SCSI devices, such as: SyQuest, Iomega Zip drives, Bernoulli,
Magento Optical drives, data shuttle drives, SCSI hard drives, and
Floptical drives.

Suggested retail price for TransferPro for Windows is $169, and is
available on 3.4" floppy disk.
