The CompuServe $1 Million Internet Hunt Begins Today

SEATTLE, Wash. - July 14, 1995 -- CompuServe Incorporated's Internet
Division in Seattle announced today the official launch of the largest and
most comprehensive Internet scavenger hunt -- the CompuServe $1 Million
Internet Hunt. With participation from more than 30 corporations, the
CompuServe $1 Million Internet Hunt begins today and runs through Oct. 27,
1995.

Participating corporations include Alamo Rent A Car, American Airlines, CMP
Publications, DealerNet, Federal Express, Hilton, MCA Records, Philips
Consumer Electronics, Ragu Pastas and Sauces, Toshiba and UPS. A win-win
situation for both consumers and participating corporations, the
CompuServe $1 Million Internet Hunt is a fun way for consumers to explore
the vast resources of the Internet while competing for $1 million in cash
and prizes. The Hunt gives participating corporations the unprecedented
opportunity to promote their products and potentially reach some 18
million computer users.

The CompuServe $1 Million Internet Hunt is a fun way to explore the vast
resources of the Internet while competing for $1 million in cash and
prizes.

Participants will solve clues in the following categories: "Marketplace,"
"Entertainment," "News, Sports and Business," "Technology" and "Travel."
When they have solved the clues, they will qualify for weekly prize
drawings. Four winners will be flown to the annual Fall Comdex computer
industry trade show in Las Vegas on Nov. 14, 1995 to compete for the grand
prize -- $20,000 in cash.

Other prizes in the CompuServe $1 Million Internet Hunt include everything
from shopping sprees and vacations to magazine subscriptions, personal
computers and cars.
