Aria is pleased to announce that v1.30 of Digital Music Player is now
available for your enjoyment! This release is a fairly major revision and
incorporates several important bugfixes that have been troubling users for
too long. This includes the random crashing that most people have
experienced. Another important improvement is the support (finally) of
sample finetuning.

If you have experienced trouble with DMPlayer before, please give this
version a try.

Welcome to Digital Music Player v1.20!

--WHAT IS IT?--

Digital Music Player is a MOD format music module player. DMPlayer is also
a multimedia player. You can mix .WAV, .MID, and even .AVI files in with
your MOD files for an all-in-one player! It is packed with features and
will work with any audio adapter supported by MMPM/2. It allows you to
create SongLists of your favorite modules by drag and drop or conventional
means. These lists can be saved, loaded, and edited. DMPlayer supports the
playback of single-file archived modules as well. So, now you can go and
compress that 100 megs of .MOD files with gzip (or zip, zoo, etc.) and
save yourself about 30 megs of HD space!

--WHATS NEW?--

This release contains some major bug fixes. The biggest fix is finally the
removal of FUM! FUM is what happened when DMPlayer started skipping to the
next song after just a second or two, and eventually crashed. This has
been fixed! There should be no more 'random' crashing. Whee! Another
important change is finally the support of sample finetuning and even more
E commands. Both of which will contribute to considerably better module
playback.

--REGISTRATION--

Digital Music Player is ARIAWARE. This means that you have the opportunity
to use the program for 30 days free of charge. This time is provided to
you for the sole purpose of determining whether to purchase DMPlayer or
not. After this initial trial period, you must remove DMPlayer from your
system if you have not registered.

Registration costs $25 (US). This small fee will provide you with a key
file that will enable you to use the current, and all subsequent, versions
of DMPlayer. In other words, FREE UPGRADES FOR LIFE! Yes, this is a good
deal as DMPlayer will continue to evolve as long as people register.

--FEATURES--

DMPlayer was designed from the ground up to take full advantage of OS/2's
advanced features:

o Multithreading ( uses several 'threads' to distribute the work )
o Dynamic priority adjustment ( works well with other applications )
 o Drag/Drop support
 o WPS aware

DMPlayer plays a wide variety of music (and other media) formats:

 o .MOD 4 track, 31 and 15 instrument Protracker/Noisetracker modules
o .MOD 4 and 8 track Startrekker modules
o .MOD 6 and 8 track Fasttracker modules
 o .WAV audio sample files.
 o .MID MIDI song files.
o .AVI Audio Video Interleave video animation files.
o Any other format supported by MMPM/2 now or in the future.

All of these files can be present in the same SongList providing a wide
variety of playback options.

DMPlayer works very well with the WPS. Simply associate all of your .MOD
files with Digital Music Player and they will be a double-click away from
your ears. If DMPlayer is running, then you can add songs to the SongList
in several different ways:

1. Selecting 'Add Songs' (or pressing INS) from the menu. You can then
select songs from the standard file dialog.
2. Dragging song files from the file system and dropping them on the
   SongList.
3. Selecting one or more song files from a folder and selecting 'Open'
   from their menu.
4. Typing 'dmplayer [list of filenames including wildcards]' from the
   command line.
