INTERGRAPH AND INTERGRAPH GRAPHICS USERS GROUP ANNOUNCE WINNERS OF "GOLDEN
MOUSE" COMPUTER ART COMPETITION

HUNTSVILLE, Ala., May 7, 1995 -- Intergraph Corporation and the
International Intergraph Graphics Users Group (IGUG), an independent,
non-profit organization composed of Intergraph customers, today announced
the winners of the annual "Golden Mouse" computer art competition. The
announcement was made in Intergraph's home city of Huntsville, Ala., where
the users group is holding its 17th spring conference.

The competition included nine categories of art. All entries were created
using Intergraph-supported computer graphics hardware and/or software. The
competition's "Golden Mouse" title is derived from the mouse input device
used by the graphics systems. The competition drew 170 entries from around
the world. The winning entries are on exhibit at the Huntsville Museum of
Art through May 21.

The best-of-show award followed by the first-place winners in each category
are:

Best of Show:Winner: David A. Maloney
Organization: Super Sky Products Inc., Mequon, Wis.
Entry title: "Node and Struts" Description: The spaceframe and tube system
model was made to help build the largest enclosed glass structure in the
United States. The enclosure covers a 180,000- square-foot
multi-attraction adventure park that is part of the Circus-Circus Hotel
Casino in Las Vegas, Nev.

Animation:Winner: David A. Maloney
Organization: Super Sky Products Inc., Mequon, Wis.
Entry title: "The Ride" Description: The computer model is of the largest
enclosed glass structure in the UnitedStates. The enclosure covers a
180,000-square-foot multi-attraction adventure park that is part of the
Circus-Circus Hotel Casino in Las Vegas, Nev.

Architecture/Exterior:Winner: Hiroshi Muraoka
Organization: Takenaka Corp., Osaka, Japaa
Entry title: "The Next House" Description: A new housing style is
represented in this image.

Architecture/Interior:Winner: Ulrich Kopka
Organization: Architektur Computer Consulting, Bochum, Germany
Entry title: "Neon, Glass and Reflection" Description: This room was built
up for fun and to test light, reflection and glassstructures. Different
bump maps were used to test the effect on the glass wall and the result of
the reflection of the neon lighted text string.

Engineering and Applied Sciences:Winner: Mike Noce' and Scott Deitle
Organization: Tinker Air Force Base, Okla.
Entry title: "Grounded" Description: This radar image was developed as a
visual engineering model.

Graphic Arts and Publishing:Winner: Charles J. Homuth
Organization: Rust Environment & Infrastructure, Naperville, Ill.
Entry title: "Refractions" Description: Image was created to study
refraction and Intergraph ModelView software's advanced ray trace
capabilities.

Mapping Sciences:Winner: CSU Project Team
Organization: Australian Geological Survey Organisation
Entry title: "Geology of Katherine" Description: This map combines
geological information with gravity and magnetic image data.

Mechanical:Winner: Wayne Hymen
Organization: Baran Visualization, Tel-Aviv, Israel
Entry title: "TV Set" Description: This 33-inch TV set was modeled for an
industrial design company forevaluation purposes.

Movies:Winner: Dave Chrapco
Organization: BC Hydro, Burnaby, British Columbia, Canada
Entry title: "Proposed 400/230 kV Substation" Description: The video was
produced to demonstrate the layout and benefits of a new design. The video
included computer graphics animation, voice narration, music and titles.

Utilities:Winner: Trilby Wallace
Organization: McDonnell Douglas Space & Defense Systems, Titusville, Fla.
Entry title: "Three Dewars" Description: The image was created as part of a
study to determine exact placement of three 1,000-pound liquid helium
dewars and hoses required for fill and drain operations on a launchpad.
