AT&T NETWORK SYSTEMS, INTEL, AND HYBRID NETWORKS, INC., SIGN AGREEMENTS TO
ENABLE HIGH-SPEED INTERACTIVE DATA SERVICES TO HOME PERSONAL COMPUTERS

May 4, 1995 -- AT&T Network Systems, Intel Corporation, and Hybrid
Networks, Inc., today announced they have signed agreements to work
together to enable the delivery of high-speed data services to home
personal computers over broadband networks.

The new high-speed services will allow home PC users access to a wide range
of interactive, multimedia services such as on-line information,
electronic banking and shopping, personal financial and travel planning,
classroom lessons, games, home office, and the Internet.

These services will be delivered to home PCs at speeds up to 1,000 times
faster than standard telephone modems, so users will receive rich,
multimedia information and complete transactions more quickly.

In their agreement, AT&T and Intel will team to offer a comprehensive
package of network and customer premise elements to cable TV and local
telephone companies, creating a set of viable two-way, interactive PC
services which they can deliver over their current and planned broadband
networks.

Intel will provide its CablePortN adapter technology, which allows PCs to
connect to broadband networks. AT&T Network Systems will offer broadband
networks and end-to-end network integration.

In a second agreement, Hybrid Networks, Inc., will work with AT&T Network
Systems to integrate its Point of Presence CyberMasterN and CyberManagerN
network elements into AT&T's consumer broadband network offer.

"We see this as a new opportunity for AT&T to bring to the marketplace
further enhancements to its full end-to-end consumer broadband offer
platform that will enable households to utilize PC interactive data
services, interactive TV, and telephones simultaneously," said Marcy
Garriott, AT&T Network Systems vice president of visual/multimedia
communications. "This agreement allows us to offer an exciting array of
high-speed data revenue generating services to our customers right away,
and again demonstrates that we will support the full range of broadband
access systems."

"The PC is clearly the platform of choice for interactive multimedia data
services to the home," said Avram Miller, Intel vice president for
corporate business development. "The combination of high-performance PCs
and high-speed communications is creating a brand new medium upon which a
variety of new multimedia applications can be built. This agreement is the
latest in a series of steps Intel is taking to enhance the PC platform for
communications and ensure access to it in the home."

"Over the past five years, Hybrid has had extensive discussions with the
major network services providers in order to develop a broadband consumer
network architecture strategy," said Howard Strachman, president and chief
executive officer of Hybrid Networks, Inc. "Our Point of Presence network
architecture, combined with the system integration expertise of AT&T
Network Systems and the PC expertise of Intel, provides the most
comprehensive solution to launching high-speed interactive PC services."

Hybrid Networks, Inc., the leading asymmetric networking company, is the
manufacturer and supplier of the Hybrid Point of Presence, a networking
hub linking the Internet and other multimedia content providers to the
broadband network.

AT&T Network Systems is the world's largest manufacturer of network
telecommunications equipment and supplier of end-to-end solutions used by
network service and information providers around the world.

Intel, the world's largest chip maker, is also a leading manufacturer of
personal computer, networking, and communications products.
