GRAPHIX ZONE AND AMERICA'S FUNNIEST HOME VIDEOS TEAM UP TO PRODUCE SERIES
OF CD-ROMs

Users Will Create Their Own Interactive Video Fun

IRVINE, Calif., May 10, 1995--Graphix Zone, Inc., a leading publisher of
interactive entertainment CD-ROMs today announced that it has signed an
agreement with Vin Di Bona Productions and the Capital Cities/ABC
Multimedia Group to produce a series of interactive CD-ROMs based on the
long-running, top-ranked television program America's Funniest Home
Videos.

America's Funniest Home Videos is providing Graphix Zone with access to its
entire library of video clips collected over a seven year period. "They've
got over 400,000 clips, each averaging 12 seconds long, meticulously
catalogued by subject," said Chuck Cortright, Graphix Zone president and
CEO. "The amazing thing is that since the show's beginning, they've only
used around 7,000. That leaves an immense treasure trove of unseen footage
to use creatively."

"Graphix Zone broke new ground both technically and content-wise with their
Prince and Dylan titles," said Eric Gardner of Panacea Entertainment, who
represented Vin Di Bona Productions and the Capital Cities/ABC Multimedia
Group in the negotiations. "I'm confident in their ability to do the same
with Vin's material. America's Funniest Home Videos represents the ideal
property for multimedia repurposing. It combines a deep, modular,
homogenous content base with worldwide logo recognition which borders on
the iconic."

"We've already started working on it," said Cortright. "We've got an
innovative and unique concept to marry multimedia with these hilarious
clips. We're targeting a Fall 1995 ship date for the first disc in the
series and a retail price in the $39.95 to $49.95 range. We'll be in the
stores for the holiday buying season."

"I've always known that our videos would translate well into the CD-ROM
arena," said Vin Di Bona, executive producer of America's Funniest Home
Videos. "After all, a belly-laugh is a belly-laugh."

Founded in 1989, Graphix Zone develops and markets interactive multimedia
products and services. In addition to its reputation as a producer of
CD-ROM titles, the company is also known for its Multimedia Production
division, which produces custom multimedia projects for leading domestic
and international corporate, government and institutional clients. The
company's New Media Group educates organizations and consumers in the uses
of multimedia on behalf of leading manufacturers of multimedia hardware
and software.

Earlier this year the company released its second music title, Bob Dylan:
Highway 61 Interactive, which sold over 50,000 copies during its launch
and continues to receive critical acclaim. Released in July 1994, the
company's (Prince) Interactive CD-ROM won several awards including
Multimedia World's Reader's Choice Award for Best Interactive Music Title
and, with over 70,000 units-sold, is currently the world record holder in
interactive music CD-ROM sales. The company's first title, The Guided Tour
of Multimedia, was the first tutorial to use multimedia to teach
multimedia, and is bundled with the IDG best seller Multimedia For
Dummies.

Vin Di Bona, four time Emmy Award winner and eight time Emmy nominee,
captured the hearts and minds of the viewing public when his production
company introduced America 's Funniest Home Videos in November 1989. The
pilot was such a success that the ABC network immediately called for a
series. Within three weeks of its introduction in January 1990, America's
Funniest Home Videos broke into the Top 10 and it wasn't long before it
hit number one, beating The Cosby Show, Roseanne and Cheers. The media has
heralded America's Funniest Home Videos, starring Bob Saget, as the only
legitimate hit of the 1989 season. America's Funniest Home Videos is in
its sixth season and is gearing up for its seventh. The licensing of the
show includes 80 countries.

A 26 year veteran of the industry, Vin Di Bona has been honored with the
prestigious George Foster Peabody Award and an Emmy Award for Best
Documentary for his work as producer/director on Down At The Dunbar for
CBS/KCBS. Other Emmy Awards include: Project Parenting (Best Live Series),
Zoot Suit: The Play And The Promise (Best Documentary) and Streets of
Anger, Streets of Hope (Best Documentary).
