Delrina Buys Stake in Ex Machina; Teaming Wireless Messaging and Paging
Software with Fax, Electronic Forms and PC Communications

TORONTO, ONT and NEW YORK, NY -- May 15, 1995 -- Delrina Corporation
(NASDAQ:DENAF, TSE:DC), today announced that it has purchased a
significant minority interest in Ex Machina, Inc. The investment will
partner Delrina, the world+s leading supplier of PC communications and
electronic forms software, with Ex Machina, the leading developer of
wireless messaging and paging software, ultimately leading to the
integration of wireless fax, data, voice and paging for mobile business
people. Financial terms were not disclosed.

"This investment, the first step in a multi-faceted partnership with Ex
Machina, provides Delrina a solid opportunity to participate in the
rapidly growing wireless communications market," said Dennis Bennie,
Delrina Chairman & CEO. "Our goal is to extend our leadership in PC
communications and electronic forms with Ex Machina+s know-how and
technology in wireless messaging to deliver integrated communications
applications."

The Personal Communications Industry Association, Washington, DC, estimates
the market size for paging to more than double, reaching over 50 million
subscriptions by the year 2000. Survey results show that over 50% of the
subscribers are expected to be from business segments. Other analysis
indicates there are more than 40 million employees who work outside their
offices.

"Messages and information are increasingly being communicated
electronically over multiple transport mechanisms," said Mark Skapinker,
Delrina President.
"Software applications that enable PC users to easily deliver
time-sensitive information and notification to pagers and other mobile
devices, such as cellular phones and PDAs, will play a critical role in
this evolution. The next exciting developments will result from the
marriage of fax, data, voice, and paging." The growth in virtual offices,
mobile work forces and telecommuting has created a compelling economic
need for powerful yet easy-to-use communications solutions for people who
need to communicate from any location. Delrina+s communications and
electronic forms software integrated with Ex Machina+s wireless messaging
technology can provide a truly wide range of capabilities to deliver the
promise of anytime, anywhere communications.

Delrina+s flagship products include WinFax and WinFax PRO, with more than
10 million units shipped; WinComm PRO on-line communications;
Communications Suite with Internet Messenger; CommSuite for Networks; and
PerForm and FormFlow, with more than 800,000 units shipped. With each
WinFax and WinFax PRO, Delrina also markets Fax MailBox, an enhanced fax
messaging service which supports fax, voice and paging notification. Last
year Delrina introduced FormFlow 1.1 with Forms Data Interchange,
providing the capability to send an electronic form and its associated
data from a corporate LAN across a wide area by using the binary file
transfer capability of fax.

"Since 1988, we have pursued a strategy of partnering with major software
developers, network providers and hardware manufacturers," said David S.
Rose, Chairman and CEO at Ex Machina. "Our partnership with Delrina takes
our strategy to the next level to ensure that our products become the core
of today+s rapidly expanding mobile office."

Ex Machina+s wireless messaging software connects mobile workers with their
office, home, e-mail, customers and PC-based applications. The Notify!
product line allows users to send text messages and data files from PCs
through local and nationwide paging and wireless data systems. Notify! can
send messages to pocket alphanumeric pagers as well as PC card (PCMCIA)
pagers in notebook computers. Notify! Mobile allows notebook users with PC
card pagers to receive messages. Products in the Notify! line are
available for Windows, DOS, Macintosh, PDA as well as popular e-mail
systems. In addition, the company markets the Reach Me! Wireless Business
Card and a series of software development kits which allow developers to
embed paging functions in their applications.

"The union of fax, voice, data, and paging will have broad appeal because
it leverages systems that users are familiar with," said Peter Davidson,
an industry analyst with IDC/Davidson Consulting, Burbank, CA. "Delrina
and Ex Machina have an unique opportunity to transform these messaging
types into a rich communications experience." The deal with Ex Machina
follows two previous acquisitions in the communications arena made by
Delrina this year.
These include Boston-based AudioFile, a leader in voice/telephony
technology and CRS Online, one of the largest bulletin board services in
Canada.
