-----------------------------------------------------------------
NAStore - Hierarchical storage manager

NAStore is a hierarchical storage manager with the ability to automatically
archive and retrieve large amounts of data quickly. This is accomplished
by the implementation of a three level storage system. The levels consist
of on-line disk space, cartridge tape in robots, and cartridge tape in an
off-line storage area. Files are staged from disk to the removable tapes
which provide lower cost storage space. Written in C-language for Convex
C3 series computers.

HARP - Hybrid automated reliability predictor, version 7.0

HARP provides a general Markov modeling capability to conveniently model
and predict the reliability/availability of a wide variety of systems.
The fault tree is not limited to the traditional combinatorial modeling
approach. The addition of four special fault tree gates, called sequence
dependency gates, allows the generation of dynamic fault tree models that
were not practically solvable using analytic solution techniques until
now. HARP will also accept system reliability/availability models
expressed directly in the form of a Markov model. Written in ANSI FORTRAN
77 for Sun4 computers.

-----------------------------------------------------------------
GO - Graphics oriented program

GO provides an interactive, graphical interface for producing input to HARP
(Hybrid Automated Reliability Predictor). With GO, a user can
interactively describe a reliability system in two notations, directly as
a Markov chain and indirectly as a fault tree. In addition to aiding in
the verification of the reliability model, GO provides reliability
engineers with a readily understandable format for presenting complex
model information to company management, regulatory agencies, and company
customers. Written in C-language for Sun4 computers.

displaying alternate model data for trade-off analyses. HARPO provides a
clean, simple set of interactive prompts and menus in a graphical display
environment. The following types of analyses can be made: Unreliability
vs Mission Time, Probability of Failure Bounds, Worst/Best-Case Bounds,

ACARA - Availability, cost and resource allocation

ACARA is used for analysis of availability, lifecycle cost, and resource
scheduling. It uses a statistical Monte Carlo method to simulate a
system's capacity states as well as component failure and repair.
Component failures are modelled using a combination of exponential and
Weibull probability distributions. ACARA schedules component replacement
to achieve optimum system performance. Written in APL2 using the APL2
interpreter for IBM PC compatible systems running MS-DOS.

-----------------------------------------------------------------
CET93 - Chemical equilibrium with thermal transport properties, 1993

CET93 is a general program which will calculate chemical equilibrium
compositions and mixture properties for any chemical system with available
thermodynamic data. Generally, mixtures may include condensed and gaseous
products. CET93 includes thermodynamic data for over 1300 gaseous and
condensed species and thermal transport data for 151 gases. Written in
FORTRAN 77 to be machine independent.

Materials testing software

The Materials Testing Software system is a suite of four programs designed
to simplify and automate both the routine and not-so- routine materials
testing needs found in the laboratory. This software supports the
plan-test-analyze cycle through a collection of programs, each optimized
to a specific task. The software gives precise control over the nature of
command waveforms and data acquisition, including dynamically variable
waveform types, data acquisition channel sets, and data rates. Written in
Modula-2 for IBM PC series and compatibles.

PROGRAM NUMBER: LEW-16160

MSCSURV - Manned spacecraft crew survivability program

MSCSurv is designed to quantify the conditional probability of losing crew
members following an orbital debris penetration into a manned module
cluster. Contributions are quantified from three significant hazards:
pressure wall rupture, fragment-induced injury, and "slow"
depressurization. Written in FORTRAN 77 for IBM PC series and compatible
computers.

PROGRAM NUMBER: MFS-31022
DOCUMENTATION: $40.00 PROGRAM: $100.00
-----------------------------------------------------------------
TRASYS - Thermal radiation analyzer system

TRASYS is a computer software system with generalized capability to solve
the radiation related aspects of thermal analysis problems. TRASYS
computes the total thermal radiation environment for a spacecraft in
orbit. The software calculates internode radiation interchange data as
well as incident and absorbed heat rate data originating from
environmental radiant heat sources. Among its features are up to 4000
node problem size capability (3200 under VAX/VMS) with shadowing by
intervening opaque or semi-transparent surfaces and a choice of diffuse,
specular, or diffuse/specular radiant interchange solutions. TRASYS
allows users to write their own driver programs to organize and direct the
preprocessor and processor library routines in solving specific thermal
radiation problems. TRASYS v28 requires the installation of NASADIG 6.2,
available from COSMIC separately or bundled with TRASYS. Written in
FORTRAN 77 for DEC VAX and CRAY series computers.

COMPASS - Computer aided scheduling system, version 2.0

COMPASS is a generic, non-chronological, interpretive scheduler. It is
generic in the sense that it can be applied to any problem where
activities are placed on a timeline while respecting a variety of
constraints, including resource, temporal, and state constraints. Written
