AG GROUP INTRODUCES NETWORK TROUBLESHOOTING DISCUSSION GROUP

Free Mail List Provides Forum, Support Group for Network Managers

Walnut Creek, CA--May 8, 1995--The AG Group announced today that it will
sponsor a new Internet mailing list/discussion group called "net-
troubleshooting@aggroup.com". The list is a moderated forum where network
managers and administrators, regardless of experience, can:

-Share experiences concerning network problems and resolution
 -Discuss troubleshooting tools and applications
-Offer hints and techniques to fellow network troubleshooters
-Offer and receive tips for using network analyzers and monitors
  effectively
-Inquire about features and applications of AG Group network
troubleshooting tools for specific situations or problems.

Internet mailing lists are a forum for online discussions. Each message
sent is forwarded to the entire group, so while individuals get their
questions answered, other members of the group can "lurk" and learn about
the troubleshooting process. Because subscribers possess a wide range of
levels of expertise and experience, everyone benefits.

To subscribe to this group, just send an e-mail message to:
listserv@aggroup.com and include the words "subscribe net-troubleshooting"
in the body of the message. To post to this group, send e-mail to net-
troubleshooting@aggroup.com [Caveat: as a consideration to existing
subscribers, please send all administrative commands like "subscribe" and
"unsubscribe" to "listserv@aggroup.com"].

For more information, users can contact the list moderator directly. The
moderator is Jon Stevens at (800) 466-AGGP or e-mail jon@aggroup.com.

Pricing and Availability

The Net-Troubleshooting list service is provided free of charge by The AG
Group, Inc. Upon subscribing, users will receive an introduction to list
participation etiquette and rules.
