Multi-platform C and C++ Development System Honored for Second Consecutive
Year

Waterloo, Ontario, Canada, January 24, 1995 -- Watcom International today
announced that Watcom C/C++ 10.0 received an Award of Merit from BYTE
magazine. BYTE's annual product awards, chosen by the publication's
editors, honor leading products that represent new and innovative uses of
technology.

Watcom C/C++ 10.0 accelerates the development of high- performance,
multi-platform, 16-bit and 32-bit applications. Watcom C/C++ 10.0 combines
Watcom's industry leading compiler technology with a new, integrated
development environment (IDE) and comprehensive set of tools.

In reporting this year's awards, BYTE editors commented, "We found the most
