TELEBIT EXPANDS ITS WORLDWIDE ISDN PRODUCT OFFERING; INTRODUCES TWO
FULL-FEATURED ISDN COMMUNICATIONS TOOLS

NetBlazer LS ISDN and NI2B Router Products Feature Integrated ISDN, Frame
Relay, Multiple LAN Support, Extensive Security and Standards
Compatibility

WASHINGTON, D.C.---Jan. 23, 1995---Telebit Corporation (NASDAQ: TBIT), a
leader in the on-demand remote access industry, today announced its
aggressive expansion into the integrated services digital network (ISDN)
market with the introduction of the NetBlazer LS ISDN and NI2B, two
full-featured router products offering on-demand remote networking
access.

The ISDN functionality of the NetBlazer LS ISDN and NI2B enables users to
transfer data more than four times faster than previously possible with
analog technologies. Furthermore, the products can decrease network access
time to 1 to 2 seconds (from 15 to 20 seconds required for standard analog
services using modems).

Telebit's ISDN routers are designed for a broad spectrum of users---from
those in large organizations such as financial markets, health care and
education, to users in the small office/home office environment. They
allow different computer platforms (Apple, PC or UNIX workstations) with
different LAN protocols to communicate directly.

"The standard features on our new ISDN products are features that other
companies provide only as options on their products," said Stephen Dick,
Telebit's vice president of marketing. "Our NetBlazer LS ISDN and NI2B
give customers the convenience of 'one-stop shopping' and protection for
their investment, as well as a comprehensive ISDN solution and support for
frame relay. We complete the ISDN solution by making the technology as
accessible as possible through our easy-to-understand documentation,
expert technical support and unmatched service."

NETBLAZER LS ISDN AND NI2B PRODUCT FEATURES

The NetBlazer LS ISDN, Telebit's router designed for remote sites, has a
compact footprint (approximately 2" x 12" x 8") and is a full-featured
multi-protocol router for applications including file transfer, database
access, remote management and electronic mail.

The NI2B is a dual Basic Rate Interface (BRI) ISA-bus add-in card for
Telebit's popular central site NetBlazer ST and NetBlazer 40 routers. A
complement for the NetBlazer LS ISDN, the NI2B provides the other half of
the equation in remote access routing over ISDN, frame relay, Switched 56
or standard analog services.

The products' suite of features integrate the most popular LAN and WAN
protocols and include multi-protocol support, multiple electrical
interfaces for the most popular LAN/WAN protocols and comprehensive
security. Both ISDN products are compatible with other Telebit remote
access products and comply with major de facto standards for ISDN
switching equipment and National ISDN-1.

PRICE AND AVAILABILITY

NetBlazer LS ISDN is available in the United States in March, and in Europe
and Asia in the second quarter 1995. It sells for $1399 (U.S.)
manufacturer's suggested retail price (MSRP). The NI2B, available in the
United States, Europe and Asia in the second quarter 1995, will sell for
$1660 MSRP.

Telebit Corporation designs, manufactures and markets a family of remote
network access products to enable cost-effective extension of LANs to
remote users. Its popular NetBlazer product line is the recipient of many
industry awards such as PC Week Lab's Product of the Week, Communications
Week MAX, PC Computing MVP and was selected as Data Communications
Magazine's "Tester's Choice." The company has offices in the United States
and Europe and markets its products and services worldwide through
value-added resellers, wholesale distributors and OEMs.
