INTERGRAPH COMPUTER SYSTEMS CONTINUES FREE UPGRADE OFFER TO AUTOCAD USERS

HUNTSVILLE, AL, January 17, 1995 -- Intergraph Computer Systems (ICS), the
independent hardware division of Intergraph Corporation, is continuing its
offer of a $395 credit toward an upgrade of AutoCAD Release 13 to
customers purchasing TD-3, TD-4, or TD-5 personal workstations.

"We are seeing a very positive response to the offer," said Loyd Tarver,
executive manager for Intergraph Computer Systems marketing. "AutoCAD
users who have experienced the performance and benefits of the personal
workstation series have been very positive about our machines and offer."

Meeting the AutoCAD Users Needs

Building on more than 25 years of graphics excellence and innovation, ICS
is able to offer high-performance machines designed help AutoCAD users get
the most from Release 13. The new TD-3, with a single 100MHz Pentium
processor, is the ideal choice for 2D and 3D AutoCAD designs in the
DOS/Windows or Windows NT environment. The TD-4 and TD-5 models, running
in the Windows NT environment, provide dual 100MHz Pentium processors for
the heavy demands of applications such as 3D Studio. ICS' series of
personal workstations also offers Windows support for digitizer operation
and dual-screen graphics display.

TD Performance

The CADalyst benchmark measures features that determine AutoCAD
productivity: CPU speed, disk throughput, and graphic performance.
According to Sharp and Bacon, "While the speed of the CPU is certainly an
important part of a machine's performance, other issues can be much more
important, depending on the way the machine is being used." No other
computer vendor understands how computers are used for CAD better than
Intergraph Computer Systems.

TD-4 Wins Awards

Since its debut in May, the TD-4 dual Pentium personal workstation has
received two major awards. The first, the Best Systems award from BYTE
Magazine, was presented at the 1994 Spring COMDEX/Windows World in
Atlanta, Georgia. The second, the CADENCE Editors Choice Award, was
presented at Autodesk University in October, 1994. The CADENCE message to
AutoCAD users: "You are getting high-end UNIX workstation performance
without having to deal with UNIX or give up your PC-based productivity
software. CD-ROM and network interfaces are standard -- something rarely
seen as standard equipment in this market, yet important to a large
percentage of our readers" (CADENCE, October, 1994, p. 56).

Credit Toward Personal Workstation Purchase

To receive an upgrade certificate, AutoCAD users can call 1-800-763-0242.
The certificate entitles AutoCAD users to a $395 credit that can be
applied toward an AutoCAD upgrade when they purchase a personal
workstation. Callers will be referred to a dealer authorized to sell both
AutoCAD and ICS personal workstations. The offer is valid only with the
purchase of a new 100MHz TD-3, TD-4, or TD-5 personal workstation through
a participating, authorized Intergraph Computer Systems dealer. This offer
is not available on new reduced-price 90MHz TD-3 models.
