STEREOGRAPHICS, FUTURESCOPE TURN HOLLYWOOD INTO WORLD'S 3D ENTERTAINMENT
CAPITAL

Firms' First 2D/3D Rave Video Experience Wows 3,000 In Montreal, 3D Visuals
Package Set To Tour World With Rave VJs, Promoters

San Rafael, CA -- February 12, 1995 -- StereoGraphics Corporation, the
world's leading 3D enabler to the imaging market with stereo
three-dimensional electronic display equipment, and Futurescope, a virtual
reality production company based in Santa Monica, CA, have announced plans
to turn Hollywood into the world's 3D entertainment capital by making
affordable, three-dimensional visual effects available to all levels of
the industry.

As the first step in this ambitious undertaking, Futurescope is announcing
that their new 3D Rave Experience is now packaged as an easy-to-use system
available to Rave video jockeys and promoters for worldwide distribution.
The 3D Rave Experience is based on Futurescope's highly successful
underground dance party, commonly called a Rave, held at the NEXSUS
Project in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, earlier this year. At that event,
close to 3,000 people wore StereoGraphics' CrystalEyes 3D passive
polarizing glasses to view integrated two- and three-dimensional images
projected by an Electrohome System onto a 20-foot screen.

'The CrystalEyes system is ideally suited to events like this, where
audiences require freedom of movement,' said Patrick Fraioli, Jr.,
president of Futurescope. 'The inexpensive CrystalEyes 3D glasses can be
distributed to the entire audience for a true, group experience. Plus, the
resolution is infinitely better than head-mounted devices sometimes used
for virtual reality. Because StereoGraphics offers an infinite variety of
solution s to fit the needs of specific events, they remain the
unquestioned leader in 3D technology.'

Futurescope used proprietary blue-screen techniques to produce the
eye-popping 3D visuals for LCD-25, the group of Montreal VJs who foresaw
the added impact of stereoscopic visuals. Futurescope has since been
contacted by various firms in Hollywood, New York and Silicon Valley to
produce 3D visuals for film, broadcast video and high-definition video
(HDTV) projects.

'To borrow a term from the Wall Street Journal, Hollywood will soon be
Hollywired,' said Wil Cochran, StereoGraphics' vice president of sales and
marketing. 'Futurescope has packaged 3D technology into a dynamic and
profitable form of entertainment that is equally well-suited to mass
audiences or individualized experiences for the home or other markets.'

Futurescope's roots in the traditional entertainment industry, combined
with their experience with interactive and digital media, have given them
an edge over other companies attempting to marry cutting edge technologies
with traditional entertainment industry principles. On New Year's Eve,
they will travel to Switzerland to produce another 3D Rave. Until then,
the company is immersed in projects for the marketing, corporate
promotions, professional sports, broadcast television, and travel and
tourism industries. Futurescope can be reached at 1148 4th street, Suite
#113, Santa Monica, CA 94043-1436, phone 310/395-9910, fax 310/394-1471,
and by electronic mail at FScopel@AOL.com or Compuserve ID 74447,3575.

StereoGraphics' patented CrystalEyes depth perception products utilize true
3D stereo to improve and dramatize viewing for a broad and diverse user
universe. CrystalEyes products provide high-resolution, realistic and
flicker-free stereo viewing for scientific visualization, animation,
medical imaging. surgical endoscopy, molecular modeling, computer games,
photogrammetry, location-based entertainment, motion simulation,
inspection systems, remote vehicle control, flight simulation, corporate
presentations and all types of education and training.

As part of its efforts to bring stereo viewing (and virtual reality)
products into mainstream computing and video, StereoGraphics has made
three dimensional stereo viewing possible on non-stereo ready computers
(using stereo-ready monitors) with CrystalEyes PC. The product works with
most popular desktop system platforms, including IBM PCs and compatibles,
Apple Macintosh, Power Mac and Power PC, as well as Amiga computers. It
includes the CrystalEyes lightweight, untethered eyewear and combines
stereo electronics and an infrared emitter into a single small package
which sits on top of the monitor.

StereoGraphics Corp., founded in 1990, invented and developed the market
for modern stereo imaging hardware. Due to its capability, reasonable
price and state-of-the-art technology backed by 14 patents, CrystalEyes
systems are accepted as the industry standard for stereo viewing.
