January 4, 1995 -- MUSI Computer Products today announced TeleNavigator,
the first integrated desktop communications environment for the Macintosh.
TeleNavigator provides users with a suite of communications tools to
enhance collaboration and productivity through its seamless integration of
electronic mail, voice messaging, data communications, and desktop

The Macintosh Telephony Architecture and Apple Telecom 2.0 provide an
excellent platform for telephony software development, which we intend to
support fully with TeleNavigator and other upcoming productsS, said David
A. den Boer, president of MUSI Computer Products, Inc. RTeleNavigator
enables seamless communications at the Finder level through PowerTalk
business cards and speech recognition, providing our users with the most
comprehensive collaboration environment.

Integration

TeleNavigator is an integrated application, with support for many different
communications functions within a single application, eliminating the need
for purchasing and learning several different applications. TeleNavigator
seamlessly integrates electronic mail, voice messaging, data
communications, and desktop telephony within one easy to use application.
TeleNavigator is also integrated with PowerTalk, providing central storage
for all messages, including voice mail, and electronic mail, and uses
PowerTalk catalog services for all outgoing calls.

easier than ever before. Through a simple and intuitive interface, complex
tasks are reduced to a single click and drag, or a few uttered words.
Built- in intelligence helps complete tasks for you or can prompt you when
something is wrong. TeleNavigator also supports many key components in
System 7.5, including the following :

% AppleScript -- TeleNavigator provides scripting and recording
for many of its features, allowing you to automate many tasks or
control telephone functions from other applications
% Apple Guide -- online help for TeleNavigator is provided through
   Apple Guide help databases
% Drag & Drop -- all elements of TeleNavigator support Drag & Drop
% QuickDraw GX -- TeleNavigator supports the QuickDraw GX printing
   model
% Speech Recognition -- many tasks may be performed through simple
   voice commands
% Text To Speech -- all text windows provide text to speech support
% Thread Manager -- all tasks run in separate threads, providing
   optimum performance

System Requirements

TeleNavigator requires a Macintosh AV or Power Macintosh with a GeoPort
Telecom Adapter and the Apple Telecom Software, System 7.5 with PowerTalk,
and 8MB or RAM (2.0 MB of application RAM). TeleNavigator is accelerated
for Power Macintosh.
