PC Cards

PC Cards are credit-card-sized peripheral devices that add memory, mass
storage and I/O capabilities to computers. While their extreme ruggedness
and small size have made them standard issue on mobile computers, they are
rapidly being adopted in a wide variety of devices, including desktop
computers, testing and data acquisition devices, cameras and many others.
The capabilities enabled by PC Cards are resulting in improvements that
are changing the way we work and communicate with our computers.
