Trinzic Introduces NotesPump: Will Provide Lotus Notes Users With Access to
Enterprise-Wide Data Sources from Notes

Orlando, FL, January 23, 1995--Trinzic Corporation (NASDAQ:TRNZ) today
announced NotesPump, the first product that will empower Lotus Notes users
with the ability to retrieve information from enterprise databases such as
ORACLE, Sybase SQL Server, Microsoft SQL Server and other sources such as
IBM AS/400 within the Lotus Notes environment.

Using the unique capabilities of NotesPump, users will be able to build
three types of information retrieval request -- query by example (QBE), ad
hoc requests for any SQL query, and export requests which export Notes
data all directly from Notes using the familiar Notes request form. The
user can also specify the format they want the data delivered in--a Lotus
1-2-3 spreadsheet or an Excel spreadsheet, a Notes mail message, a dBase
file, etc. In turn, information is delivered back to the user in selected
formats, including Notes mail, main documents, response documents and
database update, where the dataset is inserted into the indicated Notes
database. As a result, users can take advantage of background data
collection and centralized database connections in Notes.

NotesPump is based on the Trinzic InfoPump software, a leading data
replication product that is currently used by hundreds of companies to
provide heterogeneous data replication to thousands of Notes users.

"NotesPump provides a solution to the largest problem in the Lotus Notes
world--not being able to access other data sources without leaving the
Notes environment," said Frederick W. Rook, Ph.D., Trinzic's chief
technical officer. "Trinzic is already providing data access to more than
30,000 Notes users with InfoPump, now we're placing the power of this
proven technology directly into the hands of the end user."

In addition to performing immediate information requests, NotesPump users
can also schedule requests to occur on a regular basis, such as weekly or
daily. The ability to remotely initiate information requests is a major
benefit for users who are on the road and do not have direct access to a
database.

NotesPump Pricing Will Parallel Lotus Notes Model

Users will be able to license NotesPump servers and clients on an as-needed
basis, one at a time or in quantity. NotesPump pricing will be based on
standard client/server pricing models similar to Lotus Notes.

NotesPump will be available directly from Trinzic Corporation and its
extensive network of authorized resellers and distributors during the
second half of calendar year 1995.
